212-547-8912 BEWARE IT IS A SCAM. Indian or ****stani lady claiming to be from "Windows Technical Department" said they were receiving message from my computer. That it was infected and needed to be cleaned. I asked her which of my computers was infected, she could not answer. I asked her how she got my number, told me she received message from my computer’s IP number. I told her this was a government office and I would refer her concern to my IT support dept. Almost told me my IT people were incompetent, her and WTD were the only one that could get rid of the virus. I politely said I would refer the matter to my IT dept. She curse, said so****ing in a foreign language and ***g up.

I knew the whole thing was a hoax. I was leading him on to see what he was trying to do, and when I found out. I ***g up. They told me they were from Microsoft and they were getting complaints that my pc was sending out virus's. Then they had me go into my computer management. To do that...right click on computer, manage, event viewer, custom views, administrative events, which shows a bunch of yellow warning and red ! errors. So he wants to "help" me delete this these critical problems. All he has to do is connect their main computer to my computer and they can fix my computer for me. I said "are you crazy? I didn't just fall out of a banana tree. No you're not having access to my computer" and then I ***g up. Never allow anyone to have access to your pc unless you personally know the person and preferably they're sitting next to you so you can see what he's doing.

Just got a call from them. They said that my computer has been downloading viruses and that they will send me a program to help me. I *****d him and asked him which computer? He couldn't answer pretending not to understand the question.

receied a call from this number today and was told I needed to turn my computer on immediately due to visuses already having been downloaded and are corrupting my computer. I told him I was on my way to work and that he needed to call back at noon. I will see if he does but when he does I will tell him I understand that this is a scam. Does anyone know what the process is for reporting this to authorities? I looks like he's been busy calling others with the same nonsense.

I got called by these jokers a few minutes ago , and I invited him to come by my house to fix my PC, and I would discoss thing with him , but I dont think he wanted to be face to face with me, Then he called back and cussed at me, I gave him a earful as well, These are lazt *****s that dont want to work a honest job, they are just parasites of our society,

Called me at 5 a.m. ! Gave them*****...

Called them back on other phone, got recording that it was a non working number.

I told them i am on a do not call list The caller told me it is a $99 charge to be on that list! I wish someone would press charges.

Called almost daily, very annoying! Leave no message!

They call every few days even though I have said I am on the do not call list and have asked to be removed from their calling list. Even though the number is shown as NYC, the reps are obviously from India or ****stan and are very difficult to understand. They claim my computer has sent them error messages and they want access to it in order to "clean it up." This time I told them I would report them if they called a***n, but I'm not sure it will help.

It's spam they wanted access to my computer!
