Leave a CommentCalled and when I asked who they were, they just said "hmm..." and then ***g up.
They are calling everyday and we are signed up for the calls not to come thru. So they need to stop.............
I've been getting calls from this phone number for several weeks, but I never answered because it shows up as New York NY. Finally I answered it. The guy knew my first name and wanted to verify my address. I asked who he was and he said, "Like I told you, I'm with GMAC Deactivation, now is this your address?" The guy was rude and I ***g up. Definitely sounds like some kind of scam. I wouldn't even answer the phone.
They called me and knew my first name and the make and model of my car which really creeped me out... They asked if I was currently still driving the car and after my ***her told them yes, they ***g up... I'm calling to report them now...
Keep getting calls from this number. The only thing they say on the voice mail is my first name over and over a***n. Weird!
I answered and they asked for Lewis. I could hear a lot of background noise like it was a call center.

Weird - knew my first name. The some silence. I ***g up.
The lady tried telling me that my car only had a 60 day warranty and that she was from the GM corporate office, but I thought that it was interesting that the caller id said New York New York, when the corporate office is in Detroit.
This number has called at least once to twice a day. I have answered it and it sounds like a fax trying to get through.
They call here at least three times a day six days a week. There isn't a DO NOTCALL option; but you can call your local business bureau and report them.
They called asking for my ***her. I have little if any contact with him and was worried that he may be using my number for so****ing.
thank u got a call from them too but i just ***g up
This is a scam - they either want to sell you so****ing or they want you to pay a search engine to find out who they are. Why can't these people be shut down?
The caller wanted to sell me vehicle "warranty" insurance. Same old pitch. They want to protect me from vehicle breakdowns. Does anybody in their mind buy into this ****.
