Called at 10:38 am from New York, NY leaving a VM advertising a free "help me, help me I cant get up alarm. Definitely telemarketing.

Left a voicemail about a free medical alert.

This showed up on my 92 year old mother's bill for $13.00. She was supposed to have unlimited long distance. I don't think she called the number

Albuquerque is getting hit with this bogus robocall as well. It is generated by a computer program and uses this number, but is really from somewhere else. The call center I believe is in Jamaica. These computers call thousands of numbers that it makes up daily, and when there is a ring, it stores it for future calling, until someone like you picks it up. Then a real live person responds with so****ing bogus. So, use your caller ID and do not answer any number that you do not recognize. The FCC can't keep up with this sort of thing. Caller's "do not call" list is helpless a***nst these robocalls.

I have call ID and I don't answer unidentified calls. This is labeled " incoming call". I checked missed calls and got this #. They have called several times. I am now blocking it.

Robo-call after midnight. "Paul" from Shipping Dept. to say that my order was ready and he just needed...I listened no further. I want to burn down this Medical Alert Company.

No message left, so I presume it is a scam. This is why I clicked YES, it is a spammer.

Same Roberto Ortiz, same telephone ID number... Asked if I would commit to sending a donation to help wounded veterans in the US and overseas... business in the medical alert scam must be slow...

Got a call from this number. Says Roberto Ortiz. Did not answer as figure is was spam!!! Only one call so far...it was couple days ago.

My mother got a call from this number today showing the, "Roberto Ortiz," name. I do have a good friend in Bolivia whose first name is Roberto. It threw her because she at first thought it was my friend but she looked at the Caller ID a***n and realized it was not my friend. She said there was a recording and as I read this scam number thread to her she remembered hearing, "Medical Alert," and so****ing about pressing a number to initiate a package from the shipping department. SHE ***G UP WHICH WAS THE EXACT THING TO DO. Don't argue. Don't curse them. Just **** up. I cannot say for sure exactly what kind of scam this is. I know that a lot of, "connected inmates," in prison, particularly Fed Penn, have scams where they call you and convince you to press a number. Sometimes they may simply ***n access to using your line and talk to a friend or contact in another country. Other times, they first call a number in which the person who answers their call knowingly connects you to a high dollar number. All YOU have to do is press the number they tell you. On the later scenario you could be left legally owing a phone bill for ***dreds or thousands of dollars. This flurry of calls may be directly or indirectly tied to the huge surge of thousands of illegal immigrants crossing our borders. They got to do so****ing to survive and most don't have any money. Don't answer calls from weird numbers. I am labeling this, "Prank Call," because there is no, "Scam Call," in the menu.
