Hello, A scam company just tried to hack into my computer last night by having them install software that can operate my computer. they say they are Global Soft from India, the only Microsoft authorized company to contact people and make necessary repairs to your computer that are sending them error messages. they say if you do not let them fix it your computer will crash. Number 1-213-221-1050 name Steve Mactavish. when you call this number they answer but it is in India not Los Angeles, All of them have ****** American sounding names also Like Steve Mactavish with a heavy Indian or ****stanish accent.. please be advised. The 1st caller couldn't speak English - I asked where he was located and he told me Florida. I asked for a manager because he kept repeating the same babble over and over a***n. He told me that they were an international center for viruses on the internet and I had terible viruses which is **** - because I maintain strict protection on my computer. The manager got on the line and I asked how they got my name and number and he repeated same story. WHen I asked where they were located HE told me California. He wanted to remote into my computer and I refuse to let a strange caller remote into my computer. I asked for a call back number then googled the phone number - and what do you know - it turns out to be a scam - just as I suspected. BEWARE - ask questions. THere is no such group that monitors the internet. It's a huge connection of networks and there is no one group that monitors your emails. WHat phoney's.

These guys are from India and pretend to be Microsoft . They claim your PC has an issue and they ask you to initiate a Teamviewer session so they can "fix" it. They actually answer this number when you call back.
