Here's some major background on this whole situation I found out today...Company calling: Luebke Baker &****ociates (LBA)Concerning: Consolidated Media Services (CMS)CMS was sued by the FTC and the Dept. of Justice for unfair business practices and fraud. They subsequently folded, and LBA somehow acquired the "supposed" debts from them, hoping to make some money off of it.There are numerous complaints that have been filed with the FTC, and they should be laun****g an investigation soon, as they just s****ed this recently.If you've been called and harrassed by them, and by them calling so often and either ****ing up or no one being there when you answer, it DOES cons***ue harassment and you can fine them with the****istance of a lawyer.To get them to quit calling, you can go to www.lba93.com and get their address. Send them a certified letter demanding that you do NOT owe any debt to them or CMS, and that they should quit calling.If you can get them to send some sort of bill in the mail, you may be able to get a lawyer to send them a letter, and I've heard of ppl actually making a few thousand dollars off of them in an out-of-court settlement.Good luck everyone!

I got calls from this number several times a week......annoying, don't know what that is.

Have been getting repeated calls from this #.  I don't answer and they keep calling back, sometimes every ten minutes

I got two calls from them is morning, but I didn't since I don't even know where 213 area code is. I may answer if I can to see if I can get some information, maybe I can save as all some headaches. I wonder, I have a 313 number, are they targeting one area code or just everyone?

This number has called my home twice already this morning.  It rings and I pick up, say*****o a few times and then they **** up.  It is incredibly frustrating!

I got the same thing.  They called several days, rang twice.  If I pick up, they **** up.  Caller ID says LBA.  I'm sick of it.  Anything we can do to make them stop calling?

i keep getting calls from them too... i ******ly answered one time they said i owed money from 2001 which i know i dont owe. they keep using different phone numbers too so watch out. theres a guy and a girl using same extention (which i think is wierd, whats purpose of extentions if ya gotta share)

My husband has been getting the calls as well.  They do not leave messages as he refuses to answer it.  We do not answer calls from people we don't know so they have to leave a message to identify themselves and whomever is calling from this number is not doing so.  So for us it is not important if they don't leave a message.

Just received a call from this number. I called back and a woman answered and said that it was a debt collection call for magazine subscriptions. She never identified herself or the collection agency and I could hear kids in the background. Sounds like a scam to me.

Just received a call from them. I've learned not to answer either. Thanks for identifing who they are. I'll make sure to let it ring. I have a answering ma****e anyone who needs me will leave a message. They did'nt.

They keep calling on my cell phone...if I do pick up the other ear wont be happy.

I have had several phone calls from the same number.  I haven't answered and don't plan to.  All I know is it is s****ing to get really annoying.  If you happen to know of any way to get them to stop calling pass it along, since that would be greatly appreciated.

They called late last night and then a***n this morning. I didn't answer the phone last night and they did not leave a message. I answered this morning and it was Luebke Baker and****ociates calling from yet a***n another number. They've been calling me everyday for over 2 months now saying that I owe over $400 on magazine subscriptions from 2001. I never have had a magazine subscription in my life. This is a scam and they are relentless with calling. I have spoken with them many times on the phones, requested a letter in writing stating which debt I owed and sent them a letter back stating that I don't not owe the debt and will not pay it. I will wait to see if I hear back from them (I just sent the letter on Wed, so they probably haven't received it yet)and if they still pursue me as if this were a valid debt I will file a lawsuit a***nst them. I already have my lawyer working on the case. I suggest that you answer the number tell them you don't owe it, and send you a letter, respond to the letter just like I did and hire a lawyer. Most lawyers will do this kind of work for free and only if they win they get paid. So it will cost you nothing. This is the only way to stop this harrasing company is to get everyone to file a lawsuit a***nst them.

was called by this number as well, but they ***g up after 2 rings.  they called several times and I am not going to answer.  any ideas who this is?
