Just got a call on our office line from 213-237-7100 but no one would answer. Probably a robo call. Verified that by checking online/here.
They've called several times, and never leave a message. LA Times is it? I may have to cancel my subscription.
I keep getting calls from this number during the work hours to my cell phone. Leave no message. For last few days, I got more than 3-4 calls a day! STOP CALLING!
keeps calling
It's the LA times. All I said was that I don't need it and the sales person said;"You're not an adult? haha. Idiot" and ***g up. I can't believe these types of people work there.
Won't stop calling constantly and keeps asking for my parents and when i ask who they are they **** up
They have been calling for one month a couple times every other day. Sometimes 3 times a day. LA times circulation is what voice mail says. ENOUGH ALREADY!!! Big INTRUSION.
i thought it was the stalker chick because i had named it trash...
called me said nothing. i can block it on my cellie and i will!
this is the l.a. times number, they atleast call me twice a day and i dont know why they kept calling since i told them to stop a while ago.
Called back and it told me the mailbox was full. Called their customer service number at 1-800-252-9141 to complain and ask to stop getting calls. Gave the girl my phone number (they apparently have it anyway, but I immediately regretted it), and refused to give my name or my address and told her the problem. Was directed to a supervisor I had to wait a good amount of time for, but she said she was removing my number from the "call back list." (I told her that businesses that don't leave messages or identify themselves are shady and I didn't want to have anything to do with a business that har***** people and doesn't even do it properly, she was very apologetic after that one...) Hopefully that works, took me about 10 minutes for the phone call.
We have a ***nd new Verizon Fios home phone account, and within a week we s****ed getting solicitors like this one (LA Times). We never gave our new home phone number to anyone, so I'm inclined to believe Verizon is selling their new account holder's information to solicitors.I'm going to file a complaint with the FCC as well, but I may even have to switch home phone providers if Verizon is selling my new number to various harassing solicitors.Good luck!
This number phones everyday. They never leave a message. Today I answered and they still ***g up! No message! If it is the LA TIMES, I don't want to talk to them anyway. They are a huge pain. I will never answer it a***n! Thanks everyone!
i got a call from 213 237 7100 and when i picked up ***ody answered. I am sick of this number.
Called me 6 times in one week. I s****ed answering the phone "*****ile Disfunction Hotline" and they stopped calling.
please stop calling I do not want any news paper at all ...................
I have received probably 15 - 20 calls from this number. At first the caller ID said "LA Times", and now it just says "out of area". I have never had a subscription to the Los Angeles Times, so I think they are in violation of the Do Not Call List. I am going to file a complaint with the FCC.
They didn't leave a message, but when I called back it was the LA Times.I left a message for Wanda Lau at 213-237-7103 to have my name and number removed.
Called and left no message. I don't even live in California...

Received a call from a gentleman at this number at 11:30am 3/24/2010 asking if I ever used coupons or looked at advertised sales. He never said where he was calling from, never asked any demographic information, and sort of railroaded me into giving the obvious answer. The number sounds like it belongs to the LA Times; I hope they didn't consider that "research!"
Definitely LA Times. They NEVER stop calling.
Los Angeles Times! The call at least several times a day. Ugh!!!
I called the number back and it said "Los Angeles Times Circulation Department."
Called and did not say anything when I answered.
