The insisted on my social security number to verify my returned call from that number. He said how will I know who you are or what this is about until you give me the number. That’s when I knew he was scamming

The message said a legal filing was coming in with my SSN and to call them back before they proceed with legal action. It was an automated voice, not a live person.

Said they were from social security and my number had been used fraudulently. They've called three times today already.
