Scam caller.  They call at least 2-3 times a day.  Never leave a message.  I followed up with the fundraising department for L.A. Police Department.  They have never done business with them.  Scam... Don't give them your time or $$.

This phone number is calling to do fund raising for the Los Angeles County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #1. I have called the number.  It directs you to a customer service department that can answer questions, help you donate, or anything else related to the FOP. Also, there’s information on www.cafop.org . Plus, you can contact them there with any questions or requests.The FOP is doing a lot of really great things for LA County police officers and the people that call are trying to help them raise money so they can do even more good.

I got the same call - it's a BOGUS fundraiser.  Do not give them any information. Police do not use a solicitor to fund-raise.

I got a call.  When I said*****o, either the person ***g up or the call was disconnected.   The number came up on Caller ID.  I called back and there was a recording that it was the Fraternal Order of Police "seeking much needed support."
