at first this was a recording and they said to call 213-308-8949 because there was federal lawsuit a***nst me for back taxes. when I called they wanted me to provide them information about myself.

IRS would NEVER call you. They will send you a letter in the mail for any and all reasons they if they ever need to get in touch with you.
