He sent check anyway. Not educated on US Checks. Bank routing number was in the middle. Account number was only 6 numbers. Check from Wisconsin, mailed from Maryland. Car is $18,500, check was for $22,900.

Told him I'm not sending any overpayment back, he still sent a cashier's check for 12k from PFFCU via UPS, then suddenly "had to go to Dubai," wanted refund with a money order to James Banish, 521 2nd Ave NW, Fargo ND. Offered to purchase 60,000 car. Was sending a check for that amount, shipping and extra 300 for holding it. Scammer

Person says they're going to send me a check for $9500 without ever seeing the vehicle I'm selling. Person says I will have to give $300 to a shipping company to ship the item. This is a cl***ic example of the 'overpayment scam', do not sell to them.

Trying to buy a car remotely. Did not ask anything, just want to agree on sending some check and ship the car. Definitely scam. Do not engage.
