I got the same call.  It's a scam.  They couldn't tell me my name or the last four digits of my social.  Report them to the FTC via https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov.  I did.

I have recvd several calls from this company. Its for a debt. I ask who the original creditor was and he refused to give me the name, He said it was for American Recovery Services that i have a loan through them . I KNOW i dont have a loan through them and continued to ask who the original creditor was. I ask for do***ents showing i actually took out this loan and he would only provide them if i gave him my credit card number. What can i do ? If its my debt ill pay it but im not going to give him my credit card number over the phone for so****ing they wont tell me who it came from.
