These kind of calls should be completely illegal. If I want to donate, I'll contact the place I wish to donate to; if I need a service, I'll find a company to provide that service. I s**** telling callers that I have a rule in my home, that unless I initiate contact, I will not do business with you!! Leave me alone.

They are calling for political donations. I love how other calls can be on the no call list but this is legal.

Called me one day asking for me to donate 100 dollars to the Human Rights Campaign. I could only donate about 10 dollars, and I was happy to, but after that day they keep calling me and keep calling me. I just ignore it.

They were calling several times a day, but not leaving any message. After reviewing the info here, I s****ed picking up the phone and putting it down on the table without saying anything. That just wastes their time and keeps them from calling someone else. And they can't use their spiel on the desk. They seem to have stopped calling; it has been 3 days without a call from them. Maybe this strategy works.

Contantly calls. Sometimes twice a day. Hate these political calls. Very annoying. And, always around the dinner time. (So glad to have caller id). We are on the DNC list.

I did call the office and they were courteous and said my name would be removed from the database.

I have been getting 6-8 calls a day from Telefund, which I have always let ring through to VM and no message is ever left. I give to multiple causes but not by phone solicitation. This is my business line and it makes me nuts. I read through comments here and decided to finally answer and ask to be taken off the list. The man who answered was polite and respectful, and said my name would be taken off. I will be pleased if this is the case. Tomorrow will tell!

Telefund call everyday several times a day.

I have worked at the Los Angeles Telefund office and can****ure you that we do mark clients as "Do Not Call" when they request it, but that would only apply to that specific charity or political organization, so if you give to more than one organization, you would receive calls about them as well.Please be kind to the callers, though. It's a hard and very low-paying job that the callers do out of their own passion for the causes and their commitment to a better world... it's not easy to be yelled at under those cir***stances!

Like others said they are soliciting funds for progressive causes.  I called the number and at the end of the call it said to enter "304" (not 303 - they may have c****ed the option) to remove your number from the calling list.

It doesn't matter who they are.  I'm on the Do Not Call list and they are calling too late at night.  I do believe in supporting charities, but NEVER by phone.

I finally answered the phone and the caller wanted to speak to a name not at this household so i asked that this number be taken off the list. She said she'd do so. But i got called a***n a couple of days later. Called back, got message ma****e, dialed ext 304 as directed to have my number removed and we'll see if this works.

I just did the 303 trick and got a very polite, apologetic person who put me on their do-not-call list. I think I got on it by giving to the Democratic Congressional Committee.

Telefund, Inc., calls continuously.  Will try Richard's suggestion on dialing "303".

If you listen to the end of the call it will tell you how to get off the automated call list by dialing "303" during the call.  I did and spoke to a human. Good luck.

Have received one or two (unanswered) calls a day for weeks from them. No message left. I returned their call and per instructions dialed ext 304 to be put on their do not call list. Will have to wait a few days to see whether this really works!
