Got a call from 213-536-0575 claiming to be from the Department of Legal Affairs for the IRS wishing to speak to my wife. The call is from Los Angeles, California. They said to call back and speak to Agent Cole. I said call me and send me the info since I pay everything. They said they left messages and did send letters. Never received any. They said she owes the IRS money. I said my wife is dead (I lied). Since we file jointly I said BS, because they would have called me also. I told them I could be at the office to bust them because my nephew is an officer in the Los Angeles Police Department (truth). They ***g up the phone quickly.
