Caller identified themselves as part of the "Credit Department." When I asked what company they represented they immediately ***g up. My number is registered with DONOTCALL.GOV and they clearly violated the law here and have no problem doing so. I would automatically suspect that this is a scam. Way to go Verizon, for doing nothing about this.

Same thing offered to lower my interest rate on a card however when I asked which card they said they represent several companies- Bank of America, Chase, etc then he asked me to give him my credit card number when I declined he ***g up. " I asked them for a contact number and the company name so I could make sure it wasn't a scam and Johanna quickly told me it wasn't a scam b/c she wasn't asking for my social security number or pin and that all she needed was the last 8 digits of my master card number and she could give me a lower interest rate" Ummm... not born yes****ay!

It was an offer to lower the interest rate on an unidentified credit card account. Instructions were to call another number in order to receive this special offer. Very su****ious because the neither the specific credit card nor bank was identified in the message.
