Today i received a call from this number 2532421212 . The guy call my job and they called me.    the guy say i have a court day for tomorrow which is march 2, 2011 for a loan from quick cash that i never get.. He have all my information, He say the loan is for $300 and i have to pay $3991 to the court, but if i send $501 before the end of the day to Cafefone Account #295687599, N.Y and fax a copy of the rec from western union to # 14086081652, by the end of the day i will ge going to jai for 9 months.Who can i talk to about this? Who can help people like us?

I get these calls all the time.  Sounds like its an overseas call with a bad connection.  Man or woman with a heavy accent is always calling.  They read the same script to me with the exact same verbage.  At times I have called the number back to find out its a number not in service.  I am thinking about having my number c****ed.  They are threatening to file a lawsuit or to file paperwork at the courthouse (although they don't specify which one) and that I am in default on some loan but the details are never clear nor have I ever received anything in writing.  They refuse to put anything in writing. They just threaten me with legal action.  When I demand so****ing in writing, they always tell me its too late. I ******ly paid them once now the calls are coming in non-stop which led me to believe its all a scam.  They call several times daily.  Its extremely unnerving, not to mention a huge scam.  The Western Union address is cafefone and the numbers come from 510, 954, and other area codes.  They use American names like Johnson, Jones, etc.  Once they told me when I called I owed $536 and the second time they called, they said $600.  They can't even get the amounts straight.  Always or just about always a different person calling.

Got call from David Watson at Cafefone from 954 area code. Said I owed 750.00 on a payday loan. if I didn't make 150.00 payment every other month by Western Union they were going to sue me for 5000.00 to $ 6000.00. Called me constantly at work and on my cell phone. Has alot of my personal info. Would not give me any info related to money owed--name of co., phone # etc.  Said he worked in legal dept but would not give me name. Called Western Union consumer fraud--said Cafefone not affiliated with them and to not send money. SCAM!!!!!! Called Attorney General Consumer Fraud Dept told them everything---also said SCAM!!!!!Do not send money!!!!!!  Watch out for these people. Constantly calls from various area codes and numbers. Has heavy Indian accent, lots of noise in background, line very hollow sounding like international or somthing.

Yes! it is a fraud. they are running under several different names right now. Litigation, AS, Summers****ociates are just a few.they are using names like Jim Johnson, Andy Foster, Roy Williams, Towanda so****ing and Cynthia.

I got a call from number 213-928-3062 telling me they were going to take me to court and I would be arrested if I didn't pay them seven ***dred and so****ing dollars. They told me that I could send it via western union with a Quick collect form to cafefone NY. I'm not sure if this is fraud but I am****uming it is and I'm not going to pay.
