First texted by his supposed partner, “Rick” who said, “my name”, give me a call when you get off work.” I replied, “who is this?” He wrote back,, days later, “This is Rick. Was wondering if you are open to offers on your home at (my recently deceased mother’s address.) I find no info on either number nor the last name J.C. gave me when I asked for it. He would not give me Rick’s last name. Feels****entially scammy, but not certain.

Received 2 odd text messages. I have no idea who this is or why they are attempting to contact me. First text: Hey (MY NAME), call me later when you're out of work. Second text (MY NAME), how's it going? I was trying to get in contact with you regarding (KNOWN ADDRESS).
