Leave a Commentharrassment calls from Santander Auto Finance
santander will call you every thirty minutes or so and try to collect
Pain in the****!!!
Spammer! ****! ****!
My husband has his truck financed through these people, I have nothing to do with the account. my name is no where on any of the papers. I don't know how these people got my number but I want them to stop calling me.
They call to much
Santander. Should've figured. I financed my auto w/ HSBC & then they (*HSBC*) "sell" accounts to Santander. How the f#€k does a finance company "sell" accounts to another? ******. I have a 5 day grace period w/ HSBC, ahem, I mean Santander BEFORE my loan pmt is due. HSBC, not a problem, Santander? I promise you, they s**** calling as soon as midnight rolls over on the due date. Ridiculous! I've never missed a pmt & the grace period is just in case for longer mail times. My loan terms stayed the same, i.e., the grace period TOO when the sold accounts to Santander. Santander is ruthless! Don't use them! They'll drive you mad, even when you pay within your loans terms! Beware. To Michael in Oregon- the reason people****ume it's a cell phone is because if you do a search on the # in the White pages app it shows a result as a unpublished or cell #. Find out the name for a $1.99. so I'm guessing people****ume it's a cell. Blame it on White pages. God I love this app!
Thanks for the info.Marlowe
Well that's just great, CitiFinancial Auto is who I financed with. I hope they're no harder to deal with....
These folk just took over CitiFinanical Auto accounts. CitiFinancial would hound the **** out you s****ing at just 2 day past due.......
hey EM. i read your blog and some others on this site. so, i have issues with santander consumer usa and drive financial. they repo'd my car and did not notify me of their intent to reposs. also go to frcalawfirm.com and check that out. you don't pay anything the company pays the attorney fees. also read JJ replies to bianca blog from 2.21.10. JJ gives some great information. if we all fight this, then it will get better. for things to c****e, you have to c****e. good luck.
YOU ................Are a LOSER!!!!
File a lawsuit? Can you afford an attorney? Have you EVER checked to see how much retaining an attorney would be?? hahahahah And I guess if you paid your car payment on time they wouldn't be calling you.Geez, wake up.
They calland **** upon voice mail.Never leave messages
What is up with these people? I answer, no one there. I even waited for the robo call to kick in.....nothing. They call from several different numbers, too. File a complaint on each number to FCC on Donotcall.gov. If enough complain.....
I am going to file a lawsuit for 'Harrassment' a***nst Drive Financial & Santander Corp... I get 5 harassment calls a day and they even call me once or twice after 9 p.m. at night... They simply don't care and it is time for anyone who reads this blog to take this problem seriously and take appropriate action.(Please see below and I will tell you what need to do)... First, if you are late on a payment, they don't care as your telephone number is installed into a 'predictive dialing' computer and someone on the other end who doesn't give a **** just makes repeat calls all day long not caring who is on the other line... That is why these imbeciles don't say anything when you pick up the phone on several occasions...It would be a professional manner for these companies to call you 'once' and than a followup call weekly... This is the professional way to handle late payments...However, these deplorable people even if arrangements are made for a future payment will harrass you with several types of calls and messages, and even calls that no one is on the other end...They do this because 'harrassment calls' pay and they have found it gets payments in quicker... The problem is that you and I don't do anything about it... Here is what you need to do right NOW !Your first step is to log onto a website called the 'National Do Not Call Registry' - here is the site, copy and paste it in your web subject line: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspxRegister your name and number and file the complaint with notes... do this on every call that is harrassing... If you informed them NOT to call you a***n, as I have many times, than there is a detailed place to put your message...Do this everyday if need be... Only takes one minute...The government will respond to these guys I promise !The second thing is to write a 'letter of complaint' to the Texas Attorney General, Mr. Greg Abbottaddress: Office of the Attorney General Consumer Protection Division PO Box 12548 Austin, TX 78711-2548 Be specific as to the 'harrassment' they have caused you...The third thing is to copy the letter to your home state Attorney General's office... My home state is Floirda, address:Attorney General's Office, Mr. Bill McCollumOffice of Attorney GeneralState of FloridaThe Capitol PL-01Tallahassee, FL 32399-1050'I have stated my 'opinions' above about the charactor of these companies, and the lack of professional and ethical courtesies...I am en***led by law to state my opinions...There is a 'fine' line between bill collecting and 'harrassment'...I believe that the state of Texas will soon fine the daylights out of these companies, or revoke their licenses... Heads will roll... The federal government will fine them as well for violation of the federal law...I hope this helps, and do not let them get away with it by doing nothing...
Why do people think Santander is using a cell phone to call them?Do a reverse lookup on 214-237-3670 and you will find out that it is a landline.
Why are they making business calls from a cell phone? Are they legit? If this is a auto dealership customer service why do they call from different numbers most are cell? HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
I have repeatedly recieved call from this number and have told them they have the wrong number and do not know the person they are asking for. I have asked that the calls stop but they have not.
He callme all the time , he never answer the phone
They call my cell constantly and say that I was put down as a reference for someone else. I don't answer as I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. The first time or two they said they were Drive Financial, but now they have c****ed and are using the company name of Santander. A web search brings up www.santanderconsumerusa.com
I got a little nervous when I saw they were constantly calling as I was almost one month behind due to financial difficulty but not several months. I had my next payment scheduled for the end of the week to catch up. Once I told them it stopped but from what I hear with these guys you can be just a week behind and they'll ring your phone off the hook. If you have an account with them call back and talk to a rep they are usually nice and once they note your account the calls stop.
They keep calling and leaving messages, as I will not answer (sometimes due to the fact that I am at work!) However, the many times that I have called and told them the person they were looking for does not have this number, nor has he had this number for at least 5 years, they tell me they will remove my number, and yet! they continue to call.I am calling them a***n, and (1) ask to speak to a supervisor, and (2) possibly tell them about sueing, as apparently, from the other comments that I just read, they listen!!
Someone from Drive Financial called me on my cell phone to look for one of my co-workers and wanted my colleague regarding a personal matter and asked for me to have my colleague call Drive Financial back a different ph#888-222-4227. They called me while I was at work at 8:04am trying to reach my co-workers. I asked my co-worker if he used my name as a reference and he confirmed that he did not. He did not purchase a car recently and his car loan was with Wachovia. Real weird as to how this company got my phone number and my co-worker's name.
actually they mis use the references. when you fill out an application they say they are going to call just for character references. if you fall behind they s**** using the number without your consent trying to embarrass you. unfortunately, even people who pay get behind. i had to say that i threatened to sue them for misuse of information if they continued to call me. my friend really is a friend and he asked me if he could use my name but never was informed about the alternate use...not to mention he lost his job and has been still paying but just paying catch up. they stopped calling me after i threatened to sue and he has since asked his other references to do the same.
They called me because a deadbeat "friend" used me as a reference on a car without me knowing. Now that he hasn't paid his car note in many months, they are calling me, asking me to help them track him down.I gave them a lead to where they might could find the car (because I know where he works) and told them that he owes me and everybody else I know some money as well.I really hope they repo his car. He had no intentions of paying for it when he got them to finance it in the first place. He's just a common thief.
Yes it is Drive Financial....but when i pick up they do not say a word...this has happened twice already...
This is Drive Financial. Is it Legal to use a cell phone # when it's not really a cell?
Called the number, appears to be for a company named Drive Financial. I don't have an account with them, didn't speak to anyone.
Got a call today, no message.
