We actually just met with Todd Holt. He had some interesting stuff to say. He seemed legit and presented himself as very honest but there were some red flags which made us chose not to go with them. He said would not go ahead with the 3 hour interview unless we agreed at the beginning of the meeting that we would sign up with International Aquisitions Group if we agreed with what he said. But he would not tell us anything else until we agreed to this. This seemed like a very high pressure sales technique to not give you any time to think about signing with them. Although he claims he is not a salesperson, he is the "business ****yst". But after we sign, we are committing to have a comprehensive business ****ysis completed by another company for $5000-$10000 (depending on the size of you business) and committing to have them represent our business for 3 years. He claims the ****ysis company is totally seperate from IAG and they get none of the money from the ****ysis (although this company is also based in Dalas). He also claimed that the Business ****yst company would not have to visit our location in Vancouver BC. We found it very odd that a company who they claimed would do a comprehensive business ****ysis that would be accepted by all major banks worldwide would not have to even look at our premises. Todd said that they do not get paid unless they sell our business. We asked him why we could not find any information on a company that claims to have been in business for over 20 years and he said they prefer to do print media and not advertise on the internet. He said he did not have any references from past clients because his business is completely confidential and he cannot disclose anyones information. We also checked them out on the BBB but when we asked him who the owner was, he said a different name (Strik Hollander) than the one listed on the BBB website. (I am not sure about the spelling of the name). In the end, Todd Holt left our premises without doing his ****ysis because we could not commit so sign so****ing we knew nothing about. We decided to stay local and go with a company that is more transparent. I hope helps some of you looking for more info.

We got a call from Tim Holz, said he was from 'International Acquisitions'. Sounded like a scam to me...same number 214-257-7654. Someone should send his number to all the telemarketers worldwide:)

Got a call from Todd Holt at 11:30pm last nite. He left a message that there has been intrest in buying businesses like mine in the Vancouver Island area. Company name is NBCS. Looked it up online and it looks like a real business, but he sounds like a real w**ker. Who telemarkets at 11:30?

Be careful. It sounds like Corporate Acquisitions Group/Global Acquisitions all over a***n. It is definitely a scam. See www.tytymkovich.com, a website where scammed clients can share their story and find out what they can do. Basically, Corporate Acquisitions Group or Global Acquisitions promise to sell your business. All you have to do is pay them a valuation fee (usually $3000-$10,0000). They promise to refund the fee if your business doesn't sell. Guess what -- you'll probably never see your money a***n.
