Leave a CommentThis company, when questioned, blatantly lied as to who they represented. Kevin Thomas ID 404 was who I supposedly was speaking with and was well rehe****d. They are attempting to get u to c****e Merchant Card Services and even walk u through your current companys website under the guise of a problem with rate c****es. Very unethical and shady!
I got a telemarketing call from this number. All they do is bait you into the phone call with the rate increase notice thats on the statements...once you realize that there was an increase the person says fax over the statement to do a free ****ysis to show me where the increases actually occurred and then show me their wholesale rates to compare. I went ahead and faxed my statement because even though i really didn't want to switch I did indeed receive an increase and with the info. they sent back to me I disputed it with my current processor and then like magic they lowered my rates. So it did help get my rates my down temporarily unit my company raised the a***n. Plus I only sent my merchant statement because according to PCI Compliance no private numbers are recorded on my statement. I only had my MID number which is actually located on the side of my terminal and on the receipts my customers sign. And even tho it wasn't a private number the person still told me to mark it out with a marker and anything else I thought was private. Its not a scam. They are just trying to earn your business by making you aware of certain fees that processors give you without you noticing it. I might eventually switch to them if my current processor doesn't stop adding more fees.
Main street processing called me and wanted my numbers to verify I was the owner of the company. they wanted to fax me info about the visa/mastercard fee increases that were going to be done quarterly.I refused to give them any of my ID numbers. They called my bank, my merchant****ociation and my cc processer and identified themselves as me. The bank and te merchant****ociation and the processor refused to give them any info. I think they are very dishonest and are scammers. I would not do business with them.
I didn't really listen to what the guy was saying, so****ing about October and credit cards. So tired of this ****. But anyhow I played the game. Told me to fax him my Aug credit card invoice so he could tell if I was being overcharged. "Hold on, I have to **** up to use this phone for my fax line" OK he says. Then I **** up do some research on the internet and found this page. The next day he calls me back and askes if I forgot to fax him. I told him I'm not interested. We grumble at each other and he ****s up. Not more than 10 minutes went by when I get another call from Maze Joy 214-486-0303 and I asked "What, did your friend hand you the phone after I ***g up?" I told him the same thing NOT INTERSESTED. They will call back I am sure.
They keep calling me even though I told them I am happy with my processing company. The guy keeps telling me they are not a processor but a company that keeps tabs on how much processors are charging. I have asked them to put me on their DNC list, but was told they don't have one and they don't have to take my number out of their system. I will NOT fax my processing fees to anyone.
this number called our business at 9:23am on 8-2-10 asking for our terminal information. He wanted 2 months statements along with the terminal #. I told him I couldn't give him that info and her ***g up.
"SO" who replied to "OZ" - You work for them don't you? People - They are just another scam. I played the poor girl to keep her talking so that I could type-in the caller i.d. info for a Google search.. Thanks to google for drawing out these scammers. This company is "*****" all over the google blogs... You can't run from Google and the related blogs these days... I can smell a scammer from 1000 yards. In this case it was 1000 miles...
Datalink is a very reputable company. In fact this company was s****ed in 1988 and is one of the oldest payment processors in the industry. Datalink has never bounced an employee's paycheck. That is the most absurd comment I have heard. If you need credit card payment processing services this is a very reputable and honest company to do business with.
this outfit is owned by a guy Steve Odom, he's running multiple credit card processing companies under different names all out of the same office. Some of the company names include Tridata Inc, Main Street processing, and Datalink Bankcard Services. I have filed a formal complaint w the Texas A.G. office over their business practices. I suggest not doing business with them. It's a shady outfit.......
this guy Steve Odom owns this company, its a credit card processing "middle man". They are NOT direct processors. He has at least 3 companies under different names including Tridata Inc, Main Street processing, and Datalink Bankcard services. All doing business out of the same location, 3505 ****n Drive, Richardson Texas. He has a high turn over rate a**** employees, probably because their pay checks sometimes bounce. Its a bad company to do business with, stay away !! You have been warned !
I received a call from this company "main street processing". A lady named Diane told me that I was being overcharged on my credit card processing ma****e and that she would need a copy of my last statement. I told her that I wasn't interested in swit****g companies. This is not a scam,it is a legit company but they are doing unethical marketing practices to get you as a client. Never give a strange company any personal information about you or your business!
Even though you tell these people "NO" they still persist and call.
I got a call from this number and it sounded like a black teen age boy with a bad case of the giggles. He kept telling his "cuz" he needed money, like he might be in jail.
Asked to speak to manager. Then said we were overcharged on our merchant account and fees would be going uo? Asked if I seen this already on our statement? I said send me so****ing in writing and she said she would. Probably a scam artist - stay clear!
Got a call about our account, got su****ious and told them I would call them back. It goes to Main Street Processing.
Wanted me to fax our credit card statements for their review and stated that my current processing was increasing rates...duh...they have no way of knowing that info. Just another deceptive company trying to get info that is none of their business.
Threatens, curses, has called 30+ times in 20 minutes. A real group of winners.
Merchant Services.
TRYING TO PHISH ON CREDIT CARD INFORMATION
The company called I told them I was not interested in doing business with them they wouldn't have it so I ***g up. She called right back and told me I... yes I... was being rude and didn't have the power to decide our credit processing system, when in fact I do! I don't know who this company is but I would NEVER use them based off of this persons at***ude.
Calls 2 or 3 times a day. Everyday and I answer the phone, they want credit card info. I don"t even own a credit card, but they won't take NO for a answer! They are Inside Sales Representatives at Main Street Processing - Richardson, TX ... Credit Card Scam.
He was rude I told him I was not interested and he called back and on the third time threatened me. He said he was calling for Main St processing. This happened on July 21, 09 at 3:05 pm, at 3:11 pm I told him to put me on the do not call list and then at 3:14 pm he called back and threatened me.
Asked to speak to the owner, but was graceful enough to end the call when I told her that we do not need credit card processing, instead of pushing it like other telemarketers do.

Called my office (Doctor office) and asked me to call back. Did not leave regarding subject. I called back and got answering ma****e with fairly unprofessional greeting on it. Main number/directory said Main St. Processing. Caller did say his name was Steve Brown referred by Dr. Scott. I don't know any Dr. Scotts.
