Leave a CommentI received an email from Matthew and Paul stating they were from Comp-nova. Matthew email was bit more professional than Paul, none the less i sent the wrong info as far as ssn goes he only asked for the last 4 numbers. They left as address of place they were hiring for, its legit but im still concerned about comp nova. we will see though my credit so ***ked up they cant buy or do anything with it. soooooo joke is on them if they are stealing iden***ies! Maybe they can sit out these ticket i got lol
Called and left no message. Spammer!
I received a call and they left a message on my service, they are a temp agency, the woman was indian and I could barely understand what she was saying.
My fiancée received the call from Paul ex.#501 about a job offer for me in Sioux Falls, SD
Hi,I also got a call from the same company for a AT&T Job. They were asking for the SS #. I did not want to give them obviously. Then the recruiter said that it is a requirement from AT&T and even sent an URL link for this. Since, I am in Dallas, I thougth I will visit the company and check them out and report to police. I did visit them...yes they are a legit staffing company. I did talk to several people at their location. They all seem honest and they are a vendor for AT&T.I also checked with other staffing companies that claim to be vendor for AT&T. They all seem to require SS #. I guess, if I really want the job with AT&T , I may have to give my SS #.
This guy Patrick calls me and offers a job as Project Coordinator at AT&T. Then he asks me my ssn, and I gave him a fake one. Everything looked right, but I couldn't trust on him anyway. I'm glad I lied about my ssn. I called him back and told him that a police report was registered a***nst him, his IP address, phone and location was being tracked down and that the whole thing was a scam. He was like: OK, OK, OK.I hate this opportunists, scam sub-beings. They are so ******.
I got an email from Paul from Infoexpertsusa. I have been working with a few of these temporary IT firms and this one doesn't feel right. So I s**** doing research and find this site which confirms that it is a scam. I called the number (214) 269-1511 X 501 and the Indian accent was so thick it was funny. Their website, http://www.infoexpertsusa.com/index.html, looks fairly good for a scam, but there is too much this is a scam. The job they were allegedly hiring for was for the McKesson Corporation at a location in Montgomery, AL for a 6-month stint. This looks like some ****** a** opportunists from India or The Philippines trying to scam Americans. I say ****** because they are trying to target people in IT who actually know about phishing and internet scams like this. If they were smart they would try to scam another industry.
I google this number and found the followings:http://www.google.com/search?q=214-269-1511&i ... lient=firefox-ahttp://www.staffbucks.com/recruiter/profile.php?rid=122
I just got a call and he claimed that his name is Paul. He has no last name or he doesn't want to be caught? Yes, he has strong accent and I think I heard he said he's from Employee Express...anyway, he really has strong accent. He asked me to call him back for a job opportunity in my area. He left his extension # 501 to me.Does he get my phone number from the resume I posted online? I didn't take his call because I don't know anyone with area code 214.
2-8-10I've been getting employment scams.I got 2 calls yes****ay about this huge AT&T job. What happens is they'll agree to any rate or salary you want and tell you that they are required to get your social in order to submit you for the job. They claim that AT&T needs your social in order to verify that you haven't been previously employed or recently retired. They'll email you forms that look legit, but it's a scam. When the first guy called and I questioned why he needed my social, he s****ed reading poorly from a script. I told him that I wanted his social, which of course he questioned why. I told him that if I experienced any problems after giving him mine I could ***t him down and **** him, he ***g up the phone. Another sign was he was a solid rag head named John. When the second guy called a few hours later I told him that the last guy offered me 140k for the job and he would have to beat that price, which of course he said that wouldn't be a problem. Then he asked for my social and gave me the same s***ch. I told him that if he gave me his so I could have him ****ed if I had any problems he said that's ok you can have mine and that he would email me the forms. 10 minutes later he calls back asking if I got his email. The name of their companies c****ed both times, but the client was AT&T which is a known name that would mislead you into thinking that this is legit.1). I got a call from a woman, who also sent me an email. It's from CompNova (formerly know as InfoExperts) out of Richardson TX. The woman's accent was so heavy (I think Indian) I had to ask her to repeat everything 3 or 4 times. I heard ATT several times but couldn't make out what about AT&T she was saying. I'm looking for Graphic DEsign work and I've worked at AT&T before but through another staffing agency, not this one. And I would not give out my SSN, and she tried really hard to get it.
Do you have some info on this number.
Received a call from this number "regarding a job opportunity". I couldn't hear or understand him clearly as the call was breaking up & he had a very strong accent. I asked him to call me back, hoping for a better connection and I haven't heard anything back - but from other reviews of this number, I'm glad he hasn't.
I received a vm from someone at InfoExperts, a staffing company for ATT regarding a job I had applied for. They did not ask for my SS. Richardson TX.
Got the same number calling me. Didn't answer because I didn't recongize the number. They left a message and sent me an email. The company is InfoExperts Inc., out of the Dallas area and they are a staffing type company. Not sure about the SSN question, but I wouldn't give my mine out to just anyone either. Here's their info:InfoExperts Inc.111 West Spring Valley RoadRichardson, TX 7***1Office : (214) 269-1511 Fax : (831) 299-8967And for the record most IT jobs are held by people with accents other than "white" or "Mexican". And being from El Paso myself I know there's more to the world than Juarez/El Paso/Las Cruces and white or Mexican. And if nothing else, this company probably uses a calling center based in India, not the Middle East, like most recuiting services.
ATT requires it's contractor to submit ss number to verify a***nst their job database to verify if you have applied for a previous position.
This "company" claimed to be working with AT&T. First off Im in el paso texas, I either expect a white accent or a mexican accent, and this man had an arab accent. They asked if I was seeking a position as an IT tech. I said yes I am. This is information that could have been collected right off of monsterjobs.com which i do have my resume posted. I asked them what hours the job entailed me to work. The man said he doesn't know. I ask the man about how much does the job pay? He says that I will find out when I go for the face to face interview. Then out of curiousity I told him yea sure I'll set up a job interview. The first thing he asked me was my social security number. I was like wait a minute I dont give that out over the phone. Then he told me he was sorry and could not offer me a job. Then that was the end of that convo. I looked up the phone number and this is the only site that came up on google.
