This place won't stop calling even when told to stop, we are not the person or persons they are looking for yet they still keep calling.

Advanced Repo people...they don't realize its a***nst the law to pretend to be law enforcement. Check FTC website...you can turn and sue them. Just an FYI.

It's a scam, they are a collection agency hired by car dealerships if you havent payed.  They will lie and tell you anything to get info out of you.  They say to call back, that it is an important matter, that they are investigators or police, Negative!  Don't answer.  No one can go to jail for not returning a car.  You can get sued but thats it, and even then you have a month to give it back.  They get money for every car they collect.  That is how they make $.

I'm currently playing hide and seek with Chrysler for my car until my disability comes through been almost 2 months now and the last month they have been calling my house to speak to my ***her in law and just see if I live there. My fiance just says he isnt there and ****s up. They say they are doing an investigative report... we arent ****** they just want to know where the car is and Im not telling them until I either can pay them or not and then I will put the car out for reposession. ugh I wish this economy would improve or so****ing so my fiance can find better work. Anyway if they call DO NOT PICK UP. We have to cause if not the old man will and he has demensia he would tell them everything.

Got the same call today for my wife, except that the "investigator" I got actually had the name of someone she was "investigating." Of course, it was not a name either my wife or I knew. I mentioned that our number is on the "Don't Call" list and she got *very* snooty, saying "This is NOT a call to sell you anything, sir. I'm calling on a current investigation." I suggested a few things she could investigate, which she declined to do.

Yea that is it, only mine is another investigator that claimes they are investigating a complaint left in thier office.  They only leave voice mails and never identify the company or organization they represent.  My basic rule of thumb for the past 10 years is never to take a call from a number I don't know, and if it's important they will leave a voice mail, name, number and identify exacatly what the call is about and who they are with.  Other wise the voice mails go to the trash.

Got two calls he said he had a couple of qwestions regarding me X husband. Of course I did not give him any information. Complete liars!

They have the ability to tap phones. They have harrased my friends and family. They have also recorded some of my calls and used them a***nst me.Now I c****e my phone number every two months.

Willie Jones called from that number, they are a reposession company and will say anything to get you to call them back, even lie about it.

I recieved a call from Investigator Jim Davis who insisted that I was the girlfriend of a person I never met. Several harrassing phone calls.

A person called saying he was an "investigator" who was referencing a file number and to call him back.  The "matter is extremely urgent".

A person representing herself as "investigator Simpson" left a message on my answering ma****e....She stated that I had entered their investigation and to call this number along with a phone extension 331. She requested I should reference a case file no#. and to please call back. I later found out that they are a mediation/Investigation company hired mostly by insurance companies to investigate insurance claims.
