Leave a CommentHave received numerous calls on my voice mail. Finally got someone (with a very heavy Indian accent) to answer the p[hone. Said I was being sued by the IRS and they had been trying to contact me. I asked how, and he said they had sent 2 letters. I said no; I have been here all the time and no letters. He wanted me to confirm name and phone number. I made him give me a name; he had the correct mailing address. I would give him only the last 4 of wife's cell. He then ***g up.
I did get the same call too but I know IRS never call they just send Latters/Notice Pls carefull I did made a complain for this no in IRS they ll take care of it.
I received a voicemail message stating I was being sued by the IRS and to call 214-390-2570. The person who answered had a heavy foreign accent (perhaps Indian) and asked on what number I had received the voicemail. When I gave him the number, he had my name and address. He said his name was Officer Peter Johnson and then we got disconnected.
Like the others, they called 3 times and left 3 messages saying IRS was suing but number they called belongs to a minor
Called me three times on my cell phone. Left an automated VM the first time saying it was the IRS and they are calling because the IRS is filing a lawsuit a***nst me and to call back the number. I called back from a different landline and person with a heavy accent picked up saying "Internal Revenue Service" I didn't see anything to see if they would say anything he asked if I was _____ (not my name) and then ***g up. Definitely a scam, I blocked the number on my iphone since they called twice more during the day!!
called on my cell phone 3 times today! i did not call back. it's absolutely a scam.
Same as others below. They claim to be from IRS and that there is an impending suit.
I received a call this morning, did not pickup the phone. Got another call within an hour with automatic message as below; "IRS is filing law suite a***nst you, contact us..etc." I called back, heard the fax voice..
Call claiming to be the IRS and last notice before I am sued. SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!!
Got a call this morning with the same message. Thank goodness for this website and the posts you all left. I had a strong feeling it was a scam.
I received a voicemail message stating I was being sued by the IRS and that it was my last chance to prevent it; I called the number provided 214-390-2570. The person who answered had a heavy foreign accent (perhaps Indian) and asked on what number I had received the voicemail. When I gave him the number, he asked if it was home or cell to which I replied "home". He then asked for my cell number and I asked him why he needed that; he said he had to have it to access my records. I answered with "what if I don't have a cell phone? there are people who don't have cell phones"; his response, "do you have a cell phone?" Even though I do, I said no; he then said he couldn't help me with my case if I didn't have a cell phone and ***g up.
Low life ******* scammers
I got a call saying it was IRS. Other sites track this as a barber shop. I suspect they want me to call back and say "My name is X and my social security number is Y" so they can open a credit card in my name.
Got a call said was internal Revenue Service, had a foreign sounding voice. I ***g up. Believe it to be a scam
