Hello- I received this call as well, left a message on my home phone. They tried this before claiming they were from the Baker Law Firm and I figured out pretty quick this was a scam. I chose to block the number on my phone- they will get the message that I am not taking calls. You can also choose to block all calls by unidentified callers and these scammers will get a recorded message that you cannot take calls from them. It puts the frustration back on them- they can't reach you or leave a message, so their scam can't be played out. Most cell phones also have this feature.

spoke with a man that keep calling my phone saying im going to jail because i owe money and then i called the loan people and they sayed its a scam

This number called me both at my home phone number and on my cell phone number while I was at work. They said a complaint was bought a***nst me****ociated with my social security number and that I owed money. At first I thought it may be legitimate but after seeing this website now I know it is a scam. I think they got my info when I applied for payday loans on the internet. I guess my info got passed around. They also had my e-mail address, home address, and place of employment. Unfortunately I wasted my cell phone minutes to talk to this guy while I was at work. It was also kind of embarrassing. It was upsetting but now I see it is a scam. Maybe when I'm bored I'll call them back and harass them.

Had 6 calls today, mid-Easter man....Jonathan Walters. Brought another "supervisor" on line and said we can speak to their paralegal department to see who is suing me. They have threatened arrest and yelled and screamed at me. I contacted the police and they told me it was a scam and to look at this website, where I saw similiar coplaints. It is very upsetting. I can imagine an older person getting these types of calls and feel so threatened they fork over some money. So sad

Said his name was Jason Walters same law suit run around, I told him to call my lawyer and gave him his name and number, told him any future contact must be made in writing through that office. Hasn't called back.

This man has called my home phone and called me at work, saying that I was in trouble with the law and I owed 791.23. He said if i did not send 1/2 of the money today, the paperwork would go to the Attorney General in Florida, and I would be arrested!!!! I have NEVER owed ANY one anything!!!! I pay my bills, I'm a Grandmother, for God's sake. This is VERY upsetting when some "law firm" threatens you with going to jail.

Have call me twice at work threatening me about having a law suit a***nst me and several times on my cell phome. They are middle eastern speaking and give out different names. Whenever I ask about who is sueing me they get mad and will not answer. I don't know what to do to make them quit.

A mid-eastern man called and said his name was Jack Lewis and told me he has a law suit a***nst me.

I recieved a call from a man who claimed to be Adam Lee.. He had a very heavy Middle eastern accent. I have worked for many years with many hindus and indian people and the accent sounded firmiliar.. He was very rude and basically said he needed to here from my lawyer if not he wished me the best of luck.. I have recieved a similar phone call last week from a california number with the same accent but different names with the same s***l about incarceratin and money... So I believe that thgis is anoter scam... to get peole to pay money to stay free of jail

Says that they need to speak to your attorney and that is urgent to call back
