Called looking for my Dad saying they were from the Sherriffs department. Yet they wouldn't tell me the cause if the case, the plaintiffs name or the sherriffs name in their county. Scam

Received a call from 214-504-3231 stating they was from the sheriff dept, and when i try to question them why are they calling me about someone i don't know and this is the wrong number you have, the man said you should of said you don't know them. And i said you should not be calling my house and who are you, then i get another call about the same person saying that a claim has been filled a***nst them and when i check the number it was the same number 214-504-3231, it seems to me that they are trying to catch someone naive to run a scam on them.

Recieved a phone call from 214-504-3231 and they stated they were from the Sheriff dept and needed to deliver some paperwork to a Paul Truitt. I explained it was a wrong number. Call back revealed it was an illegitimate number, most likely a phishing attempt to gather information..

YES I RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM THIS NUMBER SAYING THE SHERIFF NEED TO DELIVER SOME PAPERWORK FOR ME AND THAT IF I DIDN'T CONTACT THEM THERE WILL BE A WARRANT...BUT WHEN I CALL THE LOCAL SHERIFF DEPARTMENT IN MY STATE THEY HAD SAID NOTHING CAME UP IN MY NAME SO I TRIED TO CALL BACK BUT WAS UNABLE TO GET AN ANSWER AND WAS UNABLE TO LEAVE A MESSAGE...BUT THEY GAVE ME A 1 888 NUMBER THAT END IT UP TO BE AAA BUT IT WAS A LINE THAT WAS DISCONNECTED FROM TRIPLE AAA...IT'S SHAME WHAT PEOPLE DO THESE DAYS...

Recieved a phone call from 214-504-3231 and they stated they were from the Sheriff dept and needed to send me some information about a familty member from Oklahoma City, OK, when I tried to question them they refused to respond even with the Sheriff's dep****ment they were with. When I called the number back I was unable to leave a message but received a call from (888)697-8680 very shortly after refusiing to answer just kept the line open. It's a sham they use victims from from Oklahoma City to be part of their scam.
