Leave a CommentCredit card scam Wanted me to call even though my cards "currently have no problem".
They've been calling my vonage line in ca***a for -- I kid you not -- 3 days straight. I didn't have a phone hooked up to it, and don't use the line very often, so it just rang and rang and rang, but that number has been on the call display the whole time. I finally hooked up a phone to answer it, and the line is dead.
They called, I answered, and no one responded. May be a robo-call with broken software.
Just got this number wanting to lower my interest rates.

I got a call from this number at 11:00 am. I pressed 0 so I could request to be added to this company's don not call list. Someone named Damion answered the phone and when I made my request he informed me that I would be added to his "**** my nuts" list. I felt like it was a little too early on a Sa****ay morning to be told to **** someone's nuts. If you ever get a chance to speak to Damion, please be very nice to him and keep him on the phone for as long as possible. The, when you can no longer keep him on the phone, don't buy whatever it is he's selling (obviously), and tell him to **** your nuts. Thanks everybody!
Called this morning at 9 AM. When I pressed 1 to get off list, the phone rang and then someone answered and immediately ***g up. Calling back got a recording.

Sure enough they ***g up. I don't feel like being called a***n from these people, as this was the second time. Isn't there some kind of law enforcement that can intervene?

WHY DO TELEMARKETERS CONTINUE TO CALL EVEN WHEN MOST PEOPLE DO NOT WANT THEM TO CALL? ANSWER (BECAUSE IT IS PROFITABLE!) THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU THEY ONLY NEED A SMALL ****ER LIST!P.S. THESE FIRMS ONLY HIRE ****** PEOPLE WHO GET PAID ON COMMISSION ONLY (NO SALE NO $$$$) SO WASTE THERE TIME AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.... THE OWNERS PROMISE THESE ****** PEOPLE THAT THEY WILL MAKE A LOT OF $$$$ AND THIS NEVER HAPPENS! (ONLY THE OWNERS MAKE $$$ OFF OF YOUR WORK!) STOP DRINKING AND GET A REAL JOB!YOU CAN FILE WHERE YOU LIVE BECAUSE THEY ARE DOING BUSINESS WHERE YOU LIVE!Please Note!As I have not had a chance to fully compile the list of every Small Claims Court in the United States yet, please visit this list until such time. If and when I get my list fully compiled, I shall be including a lot of extra data such as links to the applicable court rules and which courts allow the filing of claims online as mine does.Suing Telemarketers - Simple and CheapWhen most people think about the process of suing a business en***y, they naturally consider it a complicated and expensive process. They consider having to find an attorney who specializes in the particular area of law, the costs for such and weigh it a***nst the****ential ***n. Forget all that when it comes to suing telemarketers! For those individuals like me who have successfully prosecuted cases a***nst telemarketing firms, there is little need for an attorney. (A cover-my-posterior caveat: I am not an attorney, so I cannot legally advise you. Whenever you are considering legal action, it is always advisable that you consult an attorney. Personally, I have never needed one when filing claims a***nst telemarketers, but you may wish to consider doing so.) The key is that the best venue for filing suit a***nst a telemarketer is in your local Small Claims Court. The only fees you must pay are the filing fees (varies upon venue and amount, but generally is somewhere around $50) and the fee to perform service of process (anywhere from $10 to $100 depending upon whether or not you have the court serve the telemarketer via certified mail or you have a law enforcement officer or other process server handle such). When the****ential ***n is thousands of dollars, what is a ***dred bucks?I have personally filed four claims in Small Claims Court a***nst telemarketers. I have been paid on three of them (the fourth was a***nst SBC and they gave me such a runaround on the process serving - BUT they stopped calling) that I let that one slide. Of the three cases where I was paid, the following were the results: 1. Filed a claim a***nst a telemarketing firm based in Florida (Health Benefits Direct) for $1500. This amount was based upon two calls made after I told them to stop calling and their failure to provide me with a copy of their Do Not Call Policy. I settled out of court for $600.00 prior to the trial date.(Initial Cost to me: $55) 2. Filed a claim a***nst a mortgage brokerage firm in southern California (due to settlement agreement, I cannot reveal their name) for $4500. This amount was based upon seven calls made after I told them to stop calling and their failure to provide me with a copy of their Do Not Call Policy and their failure to maintain a Do Not Call List. I settled out of court for $2000.00 prior to the trial date. (Initial Cost to me: $80) 3. Filed a claim a***nst a mortgage brokerage firm in southern California (Country Club Mortgage) for $3500. This amount was based upon five calls made after I told them to stop calling and their failure to provide me with a copy of their Do Not Call Policy and their failure to maintain a Do Not Call List. I received a judgment for the full amount of $3500, plus $60 in court costs. (Initial Cost to me: $60)
They are now calling all the way up here to Ca***a. I just ***g up on the robo caller and googled the phone number to find this site. Be careful everyone! If it's really your bank they identify themselves and NEVER ask for credit card info or any info.

Do I want to reduce my high interest rates
Card Services trying to lower my CC interest rates.
This # calls our office a couple of times a week...the recording usually says "this is Rachel from Card Holder Services"....thats when I **** up. They call from different #s all the time. Such a waste of time!
"Rachel @ Cardholder Services". I thought the FTC had just put a stop to this?
Called early this morning, no message. I called back, got a recorded message of "if you like to be removed" . Have no idea who they are.
This number is from "Card Services". They called my work number and it was automated from Amber. Said they can lower any credit card rate. This is a scam. If you ask any questions they **** up on you but will continue to call. If you call the number back it says you can be removed but the mail box is full because they obviously don't remove anyone.Never give your CC number.
Got a call from this number asking if I want to lower my interest rate. They said it was for "all of them." I have paid off my credit cards. Sounds like a fishing expedition to me!
Called yes****ay morning on my work phone. No message left.
