They keep calling saying there the Dallas county sheriff's department.
This is a collection agency for Chase Bank. The company name is actually BWA General Investigations but they will never use that name or tell you the name of their company because they want you to think that they are part of an investigation unit for the police department. It's an aggressive collection company Chase uses out of Dallas, TX to collect debts and repossess cars. They will s**** their phone number to make it look like it belongs to a police department or government agency, but they are NOT affiliated with any government agency, I****ure you. They will also identify themselves as "Inspector Smith" or some similar name to make it appear as though they have some affiliation with law enforcement. This company is ruthless and they WILL lie about everything and do ANYTHING to find you or get the vehicle back. Be very careful with them. They will try to convince you that they have a warrant or court order for your arrest. Your debt is a civil matter, not a criminal matter for God's sake. In fact, if there was a warrant, the police department would handle it and a collection company would never have possession of a warrant. How ****** do they think people are??? Your best bet is to not answer the call or immediately **** up! DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU AND DON'T ANSWER ANY OF THEIR QUESTIONS, NO MATTER HOW INNOCENT YOU THINK THE QUESTION MIGHT BE!!!
its the dallas county jail. Generally from someone that has either been arrested and is calling you. or it is someone from jail trying to contact you for some reason. this is the direct number to their jail/court line.
Fake debt collection, car repossesor for Chase Auto. Caller Id says this number then they give you a toll free number with an extension. They then pretend to have an affidavit in their office which means exactly nothing. Then they say well it's gone down to the clerks office. To scare you into making payment or giving up the car.The Id is s****ed so when you look it up the the city of dallas comes up.
