Called and asked to wait for a hiring manager to process job verification.  Ask if I applied for a job on June 16th as an educational specialist.  Wanted information phone, email etc, said that will call backwithin a few days.

Thanks folks for all your comments. I had put in a job application and  this call said it was to verify my application. I couldn't call back because of busy or code number needed. I feared I had missed an important call. Because of all of you, I feel much better. Thank you and God bless you.

I believe it is that greatcareerpaths.com which asks you if you are interested in further education.  Does seem like a scam.

I also received a missed call did not leave a voicemail and when i called back it said to enter my card number no operator to****ist you at all strange just trying to rip you off!!! be ware on giving your information to this people....

MA****E OPERATOR TELLS YOU TO HOLD WHILE THEY TRANSFER YOU TO A HIRING MANAGER FROM A JOB YOU APPLIED TO LAST WEEK--WHICH I DID NOT APPLY, JUST HAVE BEEN LOOKING.......THIS IS JUST SOME BIZ THAT HAS YOUR INFO NOW FROM READING RESUME POSTINGS CALLING TO SELL YOU SO****ING.  I JUST ***G UP AND DID NOT WAIT FOR THE 'HIRING MANAGER' AS THEY SAID THEY WANT TO CONFIRM INFO ABOUT YOU..........BEWARE!

Received call. No message. "Private Name" on caller ID. Returned call. "All circuits are busy".

Just recieved a call from this number but they never leave a message. Must not be too important.

Yeah *** after 10 gd minutes on hold I got some guy saying that I applied for an****istant General Manager position, which I did not. This sees like the same spam emails that I get about empty job offers... I explained to the guy who I did apply with, told him that he must have the wrong number and ***g up...
