Leave a Commentrecieved a similiar phone call from them: Brian Lopez from the verification department claimed that he was his own boss and was very rude to me when I told him that we did not want the service. He said that the decision was for my boss and not for for me. Since, we only have 4 employees and I know that we are all in agreement about this outrageous charge they were going to add to our phone bill. Along with the very rude and disrespectful phone call from Brian,*****o with company representation like that who would want to do business with this company.
caller id showed 215 220 2335 unknown name on caller ID. The male caller mentioned First Tech support? The caller was very anxious to confirm the address.. send literature out? thankfully I never confirmed anything and ***g up.
I just received a call from this same company. A woman advised that she was returning a call from a Walter Berman regarding information he requested re: tech support. Before I could say anything, she quickly said she needed to confirm that she had his mailing address correct so that she could send him the information he requested and she proceeded to read me my address and asked me to confirm it. Instead, I responded with, "that is my address, but there is no Walter Berman at this address and please do not send me anything." She ***g up. Hopefully I won't hear from her a***n, but thought I would add to this thread since apparently they are continuing to try to scam people.
Got a call from this company claiming to be a tech support company that would like to send out important information. They just wanted to update our address, etc. I said that we are not interested and the caller shouted 'this is not that kind of call' I asked if we have worked with them before and he said that we have a profile so that would mean yes, we have worked with them. (which is obviously incorrect) He asked me to hold for 4 seconds and then the call was routed to someone else and I just ***g up. I hate this ****!
got a call from these scammers. They claim to be First Call Tech Support and wanted me to hold the line to talk to some technical support person. I told them we did not have a contract with First Call, did not want a contract with First Call, have never paid them any money, nor would we ever pay them any money. This is a well practiced scam. These guys call into what they think are large companies, ask a few questions about the type of printers, etc. around the person, then they ship massively overpriced toner and inkjet cartridges claiming it was a voice order from who they talked with.Illegal crime. Fortune 500 companies end up spending millions on these *ssholes. Typically they charge $400 for an $80 ink cartridge and they get just enough information to make the order hold up in court.Route their call to your local A.G.
Received a call from this # stating they had some IT equipment to send to us. Caller asked us to hold so they could get additional information. Told them they had nothing to deliver to this address and ***g up. Tried to call the # back they said they had tech support info to send out to our company regarding our utilities.
