Leave a CommentAppears that First Savings customer information database was hacked. Got to wonder where customer information is kept? How the hacker got the personal info? What if anything First Savings is doing to correct the flaw in their security? What if anything First Savings is doing to protect customers? What other personal information the hackers got? One person who had their accounts emptied said First Savings is charging them a $95 to cancell their debit card and reissue, and they didn't even rush the replacement, it going to take her 2 weeks to get a new debit card! REALLY ???
Same Message as previous reports. This Site should report such attempted criminals as a community service.
Received a text from 215-272-9795 stating "FIRST SAVINGS BANK ALERT: Your account card #433214000******x has been temporarily DEACTIVATED. Please call First Savings 24hr line (215)892-1754." SCAM/SPAM - I don't even have any cards!
Received the same text from First Savings Bank. Called the number out of curiosity. It's a shoddy automated system. Trying to collect a card number, pin number, and expiration date.Total scam, and poorly executed one to boot. I hope they get caught and soon. Wireless companies need to do a better job protecting their customers' cell numbers!
Phishing attempt saying that First Savings bank card had been deactivated and asked to call 215-892-1754 which has been reported as a phone scam number. Don't give them any info.
