Man called our main business phone asking for an employee that not only does not work here, the employee never existed.We have a "fake name" we give to sales/research calls and it is also the name we get all of our free publications under.This fake name is ridiculous, which also helps us determine if any calls coming in are official business in any capacity.Do not be fooled by these folks, their business practices are not only illegal, they are also fraudulent.Get any information on the callers and the company that you can, and report them.

A man named Taylor  called and said they were investigating a relativs property and a tenant. They were told the tenant no longer lives there and he became rude and nasty stating the Sheriffs department would be on this since the tenant has not c****ed their drivers lic address and they are going to report this. They scared the owner of the property and that person ***g up. Well Taylor called back and left a nasty rude aggressive message on the answering ma****g.

Hahahah, I got a call from Judy Adams, a really rude just like everyone has stated her.  She called me a "skallywag" hahah, said she was reporting me to Hudson county and they were coming to arrest me. Please the police have real crimes to deal with in Hudson county and don't have time to play around with bull **** like this.  Good luck everyone!

i also got a call from this company. a man named Taylor left a message telling me that he was doing a "post judgement investagation", then told me to call him  today, finally leaving a number(888-740-8771). i was very confused after googling the name and seeing debt collecting, when i have outstanding credit. now after reading for 30 plus minutes, i will NOT be calling them back. seems like it would s**** a fire if i did. if they continue to call, i will contact a lawyer.

I just received a call today from the same company. he claims that so****ing has happend with my personal information and they are going to do an investigation and I needed to call them back or else they will make a decision for me. he states that there is a possibility that I do not know what is going on and he wants a statement from me.  I thought that was a weird call, and I even thought to myself what could I have done that has to do with legal issues? (which was nothing) I've reported scammers to my local attorney general office, and I then s****ed to wonder if anyone has my personal information so I checked my credit report and nothing has been done that is fraudulent. his phone number was 202 558 2558 but he gave me a number to call back at 800 292 7856They are not getting my callback either

Just received a message from a Judy from Sterling and King. She left a case number and her direct number which is 888-740-8764, said she needed to speak to me asap due to a case in lexington county. As i read all of your comments i will not be returning her call, if she has my number she also has my address and she can send me so****ing in the mail!

Caller asked for the business owner who was busy at the time. I asked to take a message, he gave me 800-350-9721 and said his name was Don Cagle at Sterling King. Needless to say, he won't be getting a call back!!

Sterling & King, Sterling United.  Call back number they left for the person they called on MY phone (no longer at this number) was 800-341-1264 or 407-339-3914 (which was a fax line).  Said they were "conducting an investigation in Marion County."  Was rude to me when I all I was doing was letting him know he was calling a number that was NO LONGER a contact for that person.  Number on my caller ID was 215-279-8487.  MANY complaints a***nst this company with the Atlanta BBB for illegal collection practices.

The caller Gina Weston works for Sterling & King collection agency. She has called our neighbor and they called us to give us a number to call her back on. We didn't call her back, I looked it up online and found out it was another number belonging to the same company. Just today, She called my cell phone and left another threatening message. She says, "oh, you think I don't know how to get a hold of you", " I have my ways." What the heck kind of business practice is that? There is a law that states if you get harrassing phone calls you have to tell them to stop harrassing you and not to call back. If they continue then they are breaking the law. Also, they say to keep a log of when they call and keep any recorded messages. You can then report them to the police department.

I have received several calls for various numbers from this collection agency.  They have contacted several of my neighbors as well.  I recently saw a Dateline episode where they exposed a collection agency that used illegal business practices and the company was shut down shortly after that.  Maybe this is a route to take.  If anyone knows of a class action suit a***nst the company.  Please post the contact information or an email address to get further information.

This is a collection agency calling about someone living in my rental property.  He made threats about calling the Bay Co. Sheriff's office to me. He was very rude so naturally I got rude right back. He said his name was Mike Martin and that he owned the company that was calling. I know it is a***nst the law to make threats over the telephone.  It is also a***nst the law to be telling the business of this nature to a 3rd party.  Now that I am trying to call him back - they won't accept my telephone calls.  What a bunch of losers!!!!!!!!

yes these people keep calling, they are NOT anyone from Law Enforcement or the Court... They give bogus case numbers that are not listed on any websites in the Los Angeles Superior Court, nor has there been any do***entation received in the mail rgarding these bogus claims... I work closely with the Court and these people are telemarketers who work for a Collection Agency... They call from the 215-279-8487 and leave a call back number of 1-1800 289-1433.. So SAD. They should be STOPPED Creditor Harrassment is a***nst the law.

Lady said her name was Brenda Anderson.  Wanted to talk to someone here and when advised he wasn't she said "I have everything I need for my case and this was recorded".  Really weird acting.  I called the number back and she played dumb like she hadn't called anybody.

Okay....I got a call just yes****ay from a man named stephen josephs at this number. HE however messed up big time, he cliamed he was with the civil investigation's department of my local sheriff's office! He was down right rude, and s****ed yelling threats at me. Once I got **** right back with him and cursed him out he ***g up on me. After several hours of stressing over this (he told me if I didn't pay over $1,200 by 5pm yes****ay that an investigator would come to my house and take everything I own and sell it at public auction!) I called the local sheriff's office~they never heard of him! IF anyone has s****ed a law suite a***nst this particular company PLEASE let me know...I would LOVE to help fry these people! I know when I called back after hours the recorded message just says "thank you for calling corperate offices" Will find out more later on today.

Aquaman - We are experiencing the same thing. We have saved messages. Could you tell us what law firm you are using. We are in the process of taking legal action. Hopefully if we all go the the same laywer we could help our cases together. The more people a***nst her, the better off everyone will be.Also to anyone that has been getting these calls they have multiple numbers. 702-367-2269, 800-350-9749. If you look up these numbers numerous people have posted horrific stories about these people.

this lady is a real pain in the a** and she lies through her teeth. She claims to be an attorney and threatens anyone she can find whom may know you and threatens them as well. She faulsly portrays herself as an attorney and screams and yells threats. She will even do so to those whom may know you like family friends and even neighbors. She has messed with the wrong family. She has call my sister, mother-in-law and my friends. She hasn't tried to contact me and I have tried to contact her only to get yelled at, threatened and at no time will she ever say what the***** it is all about. We have s****ed a lawsuit a***nst her. She has committed no less than 5 felony counts we can prove via recordings we have taken and speaker phone witnesses as well as voice mails she has left all those listed above. The Fair Credit Reporting Act protects citizens from animals like this. There are a lot of law firms which will take your case for free a***nst these offenders and if/when you win you can win up to $500K in settlements. We don't care about the money, we want her head on a pike! This lady needs to be removed from society and we aim to do just that. Wish us luck... not that we need it.

The caller was Gina Weston  and since I was ignoring her calls. she called a neighbor and the neighbor came and gave me her phone. She threatened to call my neighbors a***n. This was for the balance of an account at the Academy at Ivy Ridge in Upstate NY which has been operating not licensed by the Dept. of Ed. as they claimed. We had to take a loan to pay for part of her stay there, now we are saddled with the loan, we are being threatened daily by this collector, and my daughter had to redo everything at another school. We are going to see a lawyer and I am going to make it a personal commitment to fight this injustice. The school has been identified as a contributor to certain politicians and is said to have some "clout". How can this David win a***nst this Goliath! Wow. If anyone would post the name of this "law firm", I'd appreciate it. This absolutely ******tic woman with a thick accent just called a place of business and literally screamed threats, personal and otherwise, into the phone. She refused to identify herself.

I got a phone call from 215-279-8487 they left a voice mail with another number to contact and a "case" number.  I called back and they told me they were a lawfirm and that I owed over $600 to a loan place. Luckily I had all of my statements available and the loan i received was for $150 for 4 month they took two payments of $90 which is like $720.  I told her I was not paying another cent and they could reimburse me for the monies they stole.  She got mad and said see you in court. Her name was KIM BLACK.  If you get a phone call like this ignore it. It is just another febile excuse to take money from hard workers.
