Leave a CommentMy husband and I both received text messages on each cell phone, stating that our cards were temporarily deactivated. Even gave credit card #, we called it was busy signal. Definitely spam, we don't have accounts with First Savings.
Fraudulent
Text just came and it said my acct has been temp deactivated, and to call this number. Never had an acct with that bank.
Very similar to B kehs experience. When I called number back it went to automated system requesting push 1 to activate card...(I immediately ***g up). Definately feels and appears to be SCAM of some sort.
Got the same message with the same account number...never had an account with this bank...definitely scam!

Got this same text as everyone else
received a text message asking me to call this number 215-804-7945. Message said "First Savings Bank ALERT: Due to our recent security upgrade, your CARD #433214 has been temporarily DEACTIVATED. Please call 215-344-1605. I closed all of my First Savings accounts several years ago!

The text message stated that they were "First savings Bank and that due to a recent security upgrade my card was temporarily deactivaed and instructed me to call this numnber FRAUD???
