i just recieved the call today for my son.. i never heard of this talent connect..i had to do a little research glad i did.

I was listening to past voice mails on my cell, and this one drove me crazy.  The call came through on a Sunday, and the woman stated she "received my application for my son" and even stated both his name and my name.  My son just turned 4, so he would not be filling out applications nor would he have any sort of internet presence.  I sign up for membership at a lot of sites, but never would I volunteer my son's name for and my cell phone number.  Very creepy.  Before I had a chance to get on the computer and google the number I was driving myself crazy trying to figure out what this was about.  I couldn't understand the woman when she said "VIP Talent Connect"...it sounded slurred and garbled....but once I saw these other posts I was able to recognize that name.  How irritating to have my information bought and sold, especially when it pertains to a child not even in kindergarten yet!  I don't know anything about this company, and I don't want to.  Even if I was interested in ****ing my 4-yr-old out to the entertainment/talent industry I would never, ever do it via a telemarketing sales call!  Leave us alone!  If you're such a great company then let the customers come to you!

I received a call on a Sunday morning stating they someone "received an application from my 16 year old daughter for the entertainment industry and would like to schedule an interview with the both of us." The message did not leave many details. My daughter did not apply for any type of entertainment positions, and what type of business calls for an interview on a Sunday????? I have no idea what type of scam these people are running, but they can leave me and my child alone!!!!!

It's clearly a scam. I got a message, stating they had "received my application for the entertainment industry and would like to schedule an interview with me." The message was very ***ue and they left very few details.And I never filed an application for a job in the entertainment industry. And somehow they knew my first name and stated it in the message. Strange.
