Caller ID Displayed as Charles Laughton in Lansdale, PA. Initial Recorded Wait To Speak To Agent Message promises REFUND OF OVERCHARGED ELECTRIC BILL FROM LAST PAYMENT + 50% DISCOUNT ON ALL ELECTRIC BILLS FOR 12 MONTHS. I have Selected the Option to be Removed from the Call List, on earlier calls,& these calls continue. As with previous calls: 1.) Caller Never Identified Name of Company, 2.) Caller Attempted To Talk Over Any/All of my Questions/Comments,3.) Caller Tried To Continue With The Sales Pitch Script, 4.) Caller Did Not Introduce Name of Company He Represents, 5.) When I Pressed For Name Of Company, Caller Just Continued To Speak & Press Onward With His Scripted Sales Pitch & Never Identified Company Name, 6.) When i Stated That My Cell & Home Phone Were On The Do Not Call Registry, Caller Pressed Forward With His Scripted Sales Pitch, 7.) When I Stated That I Have Requested To Be Removed From Their “Company” Call List, The Caller Pressed On With The Savings Value Of Their Offer, 8.) Only When I Firmly Stated That It Was ILLEGAL TO SOLICIT SALES BY CALLING MY CELL OR HOME PHONE, Did The Caller Finally **** Up! I have Blocked Caller Phone Numbers, to no avail. Attempted Sales/Scam Calls continue, with Exact Same Recorded Message Intro, 1-3 times per week, with a Different Caller ID Name & Different Phone Number Displayed. These calls May Be A Scan, or they May Be Attempts To Switch our Electric Company Provider, PECO. These calls may be a scam, or they may be similar to the distant era’s barrage of Carriers attempting to get customers to switch from their current Land Line Phone Carriers. Until this “Company,” “Contractor” or “Scammer” stops calling me, I have decided to waste as much of the Caller’s time as possible. I figure if the Caller’s time is being wasted with me keeping the Caller engaged, the Caller has a lesser amount of time available to attempt to contact other people.
