Said he was calling about my recent Medicare app and he knew info I had entered on the app. Was just calling to ensure I wouldn't have 2 active insurances. I did leave my number for them to call on the app and he did know info on my app. This was not a scam call.

He said it was from SS frombPensylvania. That they need to verified that I was citizen o US. I told him I already sent a copy of my passport, he said they need to see my real passport and that I have to go to a SS office near me to bring the original. He also said he was going to sent a letter with the requirements, it is been a week and I have no get any letter. It is a scam?

They called about the retirement application and when they ask for my social and I didn't give it to them they said there was something suspicious on my record and they needed to investigate and gave me another number to call.

They needed to speak with me about my recent application and to call back to the number and extension they left, but I’m not calling them back if they need more information they always always send letters or notice for paper trail. This is a scam

Needed information to process my application for Social Security. I did recently apply. Called the number she left and it was a legitimate call about my social security application.

We received an email saying we would receive a call from this man with social security in Philadelphia. We still did not trust them and did not give out information. But they are probably legit. We will wait for our appointment with the local office.

left a number to call back. when you call 215-597-5657 its sys this is a disconnected number but call 215-597 and the extension left on the message.

This is general # that comes up when a call comes from the SS Admin. I had business with them regarding after death benefits. I answered the call and it was the person I needed to speak with. Her call back # was different than the # that comes across caller ID. I think this is to keep associates from being directly called by anyone, and calls in are routed correctly.

My husband was asked to verify his info for SS, and he told them that he did not feel comfortable giving that info over the phone. We checked and found out that it was NOT the SSA

He just said he was from the SS office. I told him I do not take calls from the SS office. If I need the SS office I call them.

The color said they were calling from Social Security about my recent application and that they would be sending me some information in the mail with further questions they had about me

Said they had to verify my earnings for 2018. Due to covid they're not in the office so they have to make phone calls & mail is not reliable. Want me to return their call at 215-597-0508. SSA NEVER calls they always mail info.

Says my social security has been discontinued until they hear from me. I called my case worker and she said it is a scammer.

Called me too. I know this phone number as it was my husband's at the SSA, and his identity was stolen some time ago in that big gov't. hack. This is definitely a hacker who also has stolen this Kim Pendleton's identity, unless Kim Pendleton is the hacker!

Said he was from the social security administration, and needed me to call back about some paperwork I sent in. 1. I never sent in any paperwork. 2. Social Security always sends you a mail notification. 3. When I called SS they said the call came from a totally different location than where my acount is being administered
