SCAM SCAM SCAM. Got a call asking for personal information because I was being charged for Federal Crimes etc. Man had a very strong middle eastern accent. If you call the number back, its very staticy (as if over seas) and goes to a bogus voicemail that you can tell is NOT professional. I called the FBI and made a formal complaint. The FBI stated if you are under investigation or being charged with any crimes, you would recieve a registered letter from the department. This is NOT legit. DO NOT give these people ANY information - better yet, dont answer!

Sounds like spam. When I asked to repeat why he's calling he began to yell and say do I want to get arrested? He the ***g up. Claimed he was John Wright from IRS badge number 38182 215-909-9356

Claimed to be Crime Investigation using a recorded phone line with legal representation in the room. Spoke with a heavy Indian accent but claimed his name was "John Wright". Told my husband that they were going to have Police Officers at my house waiting to pick me up and arrest me when I got home from work. (I got a s***ding ticket last week. The only one on my otherwise clean record!) My husband flat out told him he suspected them to be scammers and argued everything the caller was trying to say, the caller got very agitated and upset and eventually ***g up on my husband.

They called and said they were with the Federal Crime Investigation and that i was 4 years behind on paying my income tax and that if i ***g up they would send my local police an arrest warrant for me. I called the police, and the officer said NOT TO LISTEN TO THIS GUY, it is definitely a SCAM!! frightening as*****, too!
