Claimed to be PayPal reps. They wanted to help me "fix" my account because someone had tried to charge $868 to my account.

She told me that I could increase my coverage for an additional $480.00 per month. I, however, have no insurance with this company.
No answer, no voice mail
Life Insurance and****ociated information. "Dead air" if not picked up, I believe that they are using a VOIP system, that is according to another source I used to look up this number to find out just who and why they were calling this home.
Phone not picked up
They keep calling over and over and over but I don't answer. I finally called back and ut was Colonial Penn. I accidentally click on an email from them and the site opened, then I closed it. Since then they've been calling, repeatedly. They say it's impossible because I didn't fill out my info but they evidently have software the can grab info from you ip or so****ing in a split second. CRAZY!
I never answer. They never leave a message.
Spammer, wanting my personal info, did not give them any info
Heard someone breathing on the line, and then they ***g up.
Have been harassing me for days. The ****** who picks up pretends she doesn’t know why she’s been calling. Hoping someone will deal with these idiots.

November 11, 2010Mr. John C. Deen Jr.DirectorColonial Penn Life Insurance Co.399 Market St.Philadelphia, PA 19181Dear Mr. Deen Jr.:I wish to bring to your attention a Colonial Penn marketing practice which disturbs me. I’ve only had your product for two months now and have automatic deductions for my premium. In the past few days I have received a couple calls from 215-928-8000 which went to my answering ma****e with no message left. The most recent unanswered call came in at 8:28 pm last night. In resear****g the phone number on the Internet, I found several complaints registered by people receiving like calls. The number was listed to Colonial Penn. Today at 11:25 am, I received another call and answered it. The female caller identified that she was calling on behalf of Colonial Penn and wanted to “verify some information.” If she would have asked me for the information, I would not have supplied it. However, she afforded me the information (name, date of birth, address and phone) and I just verified it.The question that came to mind was what could have c****ed in two months? (my name?, my date of birth?, sure, maybe my address, but my phone number?...she just called me! As she continued, I then realized it was a “marketing ploy” to get me to purchase more insurance AND, here’s the kicker, to give her some of my friend’s names who might want your products so I could be entered into a contest! Has this what it has come to these days? Is compe***ion that bad that Colonial Penn has to use such deceiving, bothersome, unsolicited phone calls to current customers to get more business? Shame on Colonial Penn.Yours for a better marketing strategy,******Name/Address Withheld******Proctor, MN 55810-2839
This number calls about 3-4 times a day and doesn't leave a message. We are on the do not call list-why do they call?

Calls repeatedly to my cell phone which is a protected number or so I thought.
This scammer is using a special service that will show any phone # on a caller ID that they pick out. That's why you see 2 different companies on caller ID, but same number.
Called 8 times today and several each day the past several days. Want it to quit.
Got call today 9/30/2008 at 2.43pm pacific time, But did take the call, I called back and voice message says that I should call between normal busines hours.
Wanted to sell me life ins. Called twice in one day. I called back to confirm it is them, and they say they don't know who called...
