Random call no answer

sent a text mssg after I received a voice mail. got a return text saying someone received it. so I say every phone call you get send one lengthy text it will tie up the phones so they can't call you or anyone.

Call me at least once to twice a week. They left a message saying they were Credit First National****ociation and to call them back at 1-800-321-1150. Called it back and it Bridgestone and Firestone credit company.

I RECEIVE SEVERAL CALLS FROM 216-352-5000 I CAN'T IDENTIFY WHO IS CALLING, I HAVE NOT ANY KIND OF BUSINESSES WITH PEOPLE OUTSIDE TEXAS

Just received call # 3 from "Credit First." The first two calls, I didn't answer. The third, I did answer. Because I had googled the number and read all of your posts, I was ready to talk to her. She asked for (insert butchered name here.) I said, "This is (corrected name.) Who are you?" She said she was calling from Credit First and that she needed me to listen to a recorded message. I said, "No, you're not. And no, I won't. This is a scam." She chuckled and said, no, we're not, Ma'am. I said, yes, you are, b****." Then I ***g up. Incidentally, I have a WheelWorks Card through CFNA. I see Firestone mentioned here a lot, but not WheelWorks. I'm wondering if they're owned by Firestone.

I have no account with said company.  Because I got calls from this number on both my personal cell phone and my work cell (which cannot be traced back to me), I believe this to be a scam.

Received a call from this number on 12/29/09 at 8:30pm.  Didnt answer because I was at work.  No message was left, but when I googled this number and saw this site I thought I'd report the call.  I also have a Firestone card through CFNA.  Guess I need to check my statement!

This number is****ociated with Firestone/Bridgestone Credit Card Services.  CFNA Bank provides the card services.  They are looking for payment or calling about a c****e in the credit card.

I have received numerous call from this number; the one time I answered I was told to call an 800 number which I did not.  I don't know why they keep calling, but I will continue to ignore them and have no intention of calling them unless they leave a message regarding why they are calling and why I need to call them.

just to add to this, I used to be a manager for Firestone.  They offer the Firestone Credit Card and it goes through Credit First National****ociation or CFNA.  This company is owned by Firestone.  I dont recommend doing business with them, but if you do have an account watch it closely and make sure that all charges on your statement you have approved and signed for.

They called my husband's cell phone tonight, about 7:30. They knew his name and asked for his social security number! He refused, and s****ed questioning them, and they said they had the wrong number. They ask for him by name and claim it's a wrong number??? Give me a break! They knew he wasn't going to play into whatever game they had going and made up an excuse to get off the phone. Still don't know what scam they are running.

I got a phone call (caller ID: 216-362-5000 Firestone tire) A man with Indian accent ask saying my name and ask me to listen to this recorded message, The message says: You are late for paaying your firestone credit card payment, please forward your payment to the following address: P.O. Box Akron, OH) and then **** up. I did not try to call them back. I did not use my firestone card for years. I intend to cancel it asap

Hey I got 2 calls from them this morning and they asked for the girl who has stolen my iden***y. I told them "that's the girl who stole my iden***y" and they said "ok so you didn't try to open an account with firestone." I said no and they said they'd take care of it. I think they're legit seeing as she had some other information that some scammer wouldn't know! If you have nothing to do with firestone I recommend stop smelling scam and s**** thinking ID Theft!

Received a message on my ma****e to please call a 1-800 number from a credit first company but when I looked on our caller ID it said this 216 number and firestone company so I looked this number up on google and found this website.

I just got a voicemail today from this number from a woman looking for a man and saying that it was important for me to call back.  I agree that it is likely a scam of some kind.  Googled the number to see if I could figure out who it was and found this site.

They called a***n today (which makes 8 times now since 9-16, according to my cell phone call log)... I picked it up this time and there was a live person on the other end. They asked for some guy I've never heard of and when I told them that there was no one here by that name and to quit calling me, they tried to tell me that someone took a message for him at this number recently.I have had the same phone number for over 3 years now and it's a cellphone. No one else but me uses it. The last 2 times they called is the only time I've answered it -- the previous times they ***g up on my voicemail. They've never once left a message on it. I smell a scam.

Gotten two missed calls on my cell from this number today.  No caller ID. No voice mail. I live in St. Louis.

***osh I know.these people call me daily, ever since I bought this phone from verizon like over a year ago, and it's not only them. there are over weird numbers calling too, such as 800-365-6528, 888-254-8110, and 678-486-1027.      I don't know how they managed to get my phone number or what they want. they're always asking for some guy name George.

Received call from this number 4/29/08. Didn't recognise & didn't answer.

calls from this number are 4 to 6 times a day, normally twice ina row..no msgs left on voicemail...will only talk with who they call for.  calling up to 10 pm eastern.

This caller will call and only request to speak to the person they are calling for, Only if the phone is picked up. If the phone is not picked up on, they will call numerous times (8-10 times estimated) all day from 8am through 8pm everyday. And if they hit a message ma****e and or voice, they do not leave a message.

Called me and asked me to listen to recorded message telling me to pay my credit bill through First Credit company and they gave a PO Box address and nothing else.

I live in MST zone and received a call from this number.  It came up on the caller ID as Firestone Tire.  We do have credit with them, but everything is up to date and so I did not answer.  They did leave a message.  It sounded like a kid on the phone.  They said, "I coming for you, yeah yeah yeah, I am going to **** you."  I don't know who this is nor do I appreciate this type of behavior.  Just thought I would post and let you all know what happend in my situation.  I might just call the police and see what can be done.

They've called me 5 times over the past 4 business days, on my cell phone (Florida), and never leave voice mail.  No caller ID text shows.  I haven't answered figuring it was someone who either had a wrong number, or I otherwise didn't know and didn't want to talk (esp. if no caller ID info).  I don't KNOW what this caller is, but read several places it may be so****ing Bridgestone/Firestone related, maybe credit collection services?

same here... they've called me twice today alone. When I try the number, it goes to the automated system of Bridgestone. why would they call me at 10pm EST?

The claim to be Bridgestone Credit Card Services.  Also call me and do not leave messages.
