Free rewards from WalMart and Target. Glad the FTC does such a good job removing these spammers! Oh, sorry, They do nothing!

First spamster call to cellphone. "Backbone comm?"

Both the Federal Trade Commission and Federal Communications Commission can fine telemarketers up to $11,000 per violation. This fine can be assessed for each phone call to a number that is subscribed to the registry !

I had a call on 10:46 am on August 20th. "Private Name" appeared in the caller ID.

216-539-0107 calls out of Cleveland , Ohio . No caller ID name shows . They are spammer / Scammer Telemarketers who call trying to get you to give them your personal information . We do not answer calls from unknown phone numbers or caller ID . Do not answer their calls or speak to them .

Unfortunately the no call list is a load of bull ****. It is utterly useless the only thing to do is ignore the calls.

I called them back anonymously and spoke to Lisa and I expressed my outrage regarding their repeated calls to my private number which I've had registered each yr. on the national do not call registry. I requested to speak to a manager. She told me to hold for "Nick or Mar".... you can't make this stuff up. I informed him "Nick Smythe" that they are robo-dialing and it's an illegal practice. It's also illegal to call people that are on the do not call registry.... He stated that an "un-named 3rd party" provides them with the phone numbers. These folks need a class-action lawsuit against them!

How can they call if I am on the no call registry? Home phone AND cell phone. They only called home phone this morning. Hung up on answering machine.

One story to cheer you up? A Tele-Marketing Convention was held in Las Vegas a few years ago and some guy staying at the same hotel, (not a marketer), waited 'til 4 AM and started calling all the rooms on the same floor where all the jerks were staying. He wouldn't say anything and boy did they ever start cussing him out!!

If you actually wait long enough, someone will come on the line to tell you that you may have won a gift card. When a human actually picked up the phone, I told her to remove my number. Big mistake. These $%^#ers call every day now.

Random call to my cell phone # which I did not answer. This is the second time in two days I have received a call from this number.

This number just called my cell. I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the area code as having anything to do with me. They did not leave a message. I believe it is 100% a spammer.

I answered no one on the other end

It is a collection call from Dish Network. A few years ago, I tried to use DISH. They lied from the beginning. Plus, after hooking up my service, which I thought would be $89.00, they sent me a shutoff notice for $250.00. So I cancelled. Like an idiot, they took there fee of $400.00 out of my bank. They screamed they wanted their equipment. I sent ours and the other previous tenants back. Now they want $445.00. No way.

$100 Gift card scamm

Called today and left no message. I did not answer. Other reports in my area have also received phone calls from them.

When I don't recognize a number, I answer: "This phone is listed on DoNotCall.gov. Do you still want to talk to me?" They always hang up...and I've never had a repeat call from them.

Robocall. I guess I won $100...yeah, right.

Marketing Solutions - supposedly received my information because I made a purchase at one of 800 retailers.
