I just got a phone call from that exact same number and it was a man breathing very heavy, he called 2x in a row. He asked if i wanted a subscription to vouge magazine

we have received 2 calls today at our place of business, but no one even talks to you

The 217-960 number is from Magicjack, I know because my phone number s****s with 217-960-****. You can pick any phone number that you want and you can use any name on the caller id. Magicjack is a nice service and these idiots are the ones that will ruin it for ecveryone.

This number called me for a scam for trying to collect money to help our fellow police officers.  My uncle is a cop, and he said there are places that do collect money for cops, but they dont go calling people up to ask for donations.  So if anybody does call you asking you to donate for the police, DON"T!!

My wife received a call from this number today and could hear a person breathing but no one said anything.  I searched the area code and prefix on www.fonefinder.net and it does not come up with a carrier affiliation.

Called, my husband picked up. They asked for Jennifer and he said may I ask who's calling and then they ***g up. Weird. Called back and received a voice mailbox.

Recieved a call from this number with ***ody on the other end. Does anyone know who this is?

I received a call from this number... It said Springfield Illinois. No idea who it is or what happened on the other end since I never picked it up.

I JUST GOT A CALL FROM THIS NUMBER TOO.BUT NOTHING IS SAID AND IT DOES SOUND LIKE IT'S RECORDING YOUR VOICE.

Received a call from this number. Looked it up and couldn't find it.  Must be a scan. No message left.  I didn't answer because I didn't know the number. I'll block it on my phone.

Same deal - no one on the line, no message left and ID says 'Illinois call" I live near Chicago myself and have relatives in Champaign (where it orginates) but it's not from any one near there. Next time I go down there i'll try to ***t them down

A person called stating they were from Springfield Valley Police and questioned my 13 year old daughter if she was o.k. and safe? She handed phone to me and all i got was dead silence. I then ***g up! I called the number back and received voice mail!

Same here from that number, but only one call so far

This number called me twice.

Four calls so far; twice today and twice yes****ay.  Each time there's silence for just a second, then what sounds like my voice being recorded, and then the line goes dead.
