It was a valid call, I put in a request for Duke Energy's home audit for energy savings and they were calling me back per my request.

Called several times. Finally answered and they claimed to be from DTE Energy, then sounded like a phishing call asking to verify name, address, et al. WATCH OUT FOR THESE GUYS, THEY SEEM TO BE PHISHING. PROBABLY NOT WHO THEY SAY THEY ARE since the info they gave was not same as the info on file at DTE. Called number back and they said they are "Customer Link" a "sales and marketing" team.

I have been getting 2-3 calls a day from this number for the last two weeks. They don't leave a message and if I pickup the phone no one is there.

The person I talked to claims to be an education advisor. She said they got my name from an on-line survey, which could have been any survey, including a customer satisfaction survey unrelated to education. In the past month I have received many calls from six different phone numbers.

Has called me 3 times this week, same number everytime. I haven't answered, and now, after reading all the posts about this number, I for sure won't answer! I even have my cell on the do not call list.

This call is supposedly from Xcel Energy, and they say that "this is not a telemarketing call". Compete BS as they are trying to push customers to have the energy saver installed in your home. I consider that telemarketing. I told them for the 2nd time to take me off their list. I told them the first time 2 years ago.

IF you answer, they ALWAYS **** up. Obviously attempting to hack the DND listings. If you call the number, their mailbox to remove your number is ALWAYS full. They expressed themselves as a marketing research group. I pressed option #2 when calling this number back and spoke to a person who ironically has the same first name I do (and I have a very unique first name) and I chewed her a new one. She unsubscribed my number but we'll see if this works. If not, I will continue to call and complain. Incessantly. And I can be annoying. Maybe I should work for somewhere like this where they employ ANNOYING people!!!
