This was a telemarketer trying to sell web design services. When asked for the name of the company they were calling from, they stated they were "a web design company".

received similar call - told east indian accented caller that i had a local provider - as i was politely asking him to remove my number from their list since i'm on a government do not call list, he ***g up...

Same thing here, asked to speak with the owner, told them they were retired. He indicated that he was a website designer and wanted to build us a new website. I told him I just built one a couple of months ago and not interested in getting another. Unfortunately he must have been using a really bad phone because he kept swit****g to his speaker phone then back to the handset then back to speaker making it even more difficult to understand him with his heavy accent.

We got exactly the same thing - except the boss is out of town - heavily accented voice on the line.We are in British Columbia and the call display says it's originating from Minnesota - these telemarketers waste so much of our time when you get several different ones calling in a day.

Person calling wanting to "speak to the owner of this business".  We replied "there is no owner of this business". He ***g up
