I tried calling the TMC company that someone posted on a similar site:http://www.tmcnet.com/tmcnet/abouttmc.htmBut the receptionist said the 219 # was not affiliated with them.. she also said they get several calls a day related to the 219 number.And based on a search of area codes (see link below or use a phone book), I'm inclined to believe her since 219 area code is for CT & the TMC number is area code 203 which is Gary, IN.http://www.bennetyee.org/ucsd-pages/area.htmlI filed a complaint via the federal DoNotCall.gov website.Every time I've tried calling the 219-230-3807 # back, I get a fax ma****e.Tried to fax a 'do not call' note to 219-230-3807, but apparently my VoIP line doesn't handle my computer's FaxModem properly, just gets various errors.

We too are getting these **** up calls.  To date, we have not been able to speak to anyone about removing our name from the call list.  It is extremely annoying and would like to calls to end, but not sure how to contact as I have tried the same as many others have tried.

****-ups 4 or more daily. I have been hitting *69 on my phone.

Received a call from someone who knew my name but did not state the company they represented until I asked them.  Stated that I had been selected to receive a complimentary vacation on behalf of them opening a new business and to select what destination I would like from a few choices I was presented.I politely declined because I do not trust these calls and that I would prefer them to pass the "complimentary vacation" to the next caller please.  Funny thing is that they stated that they were a new company in the Houston area but the area code Indiana.

OK...try this one.  Maybe someone will get them to stop calling this way...I called the 219-230-3807 WITH MY FAX MA****E in an attempt to tell them on paper to stop calling me.  When I hit send, my fax ma****e showed the number 813-626-1485 in my fax caller id window (which is where the fax always tells me who I'm faxing).  I was unable to fax my nasty note to the 219 number.  However, when I tried to fax my note to the 813 number it was sent without difficulty.  I think the 813 number is connected to the 219 number in some way.

I've been getting calls from this number. I'm so aggravated that they **** up on me. Of course the one morning that I can sleep in and they wake me up. Only to have me answer it and then they **** up. Why are these people or companies so ****** to do this. If they want so****ing then why do they **** up on you? It's TMC-Hammond, In.,  Lake County,  G-lobalcom,Inc.-il, Phone type says-LandLine.

I'm getting sick of these calls.  Day in and day out.  One time a real person was on the phone when I answered and I requested they remove my number.  To date, they have not and it's constant battle.  I'm currently home, recuperating from ****** cancer surgery and subsequent chemotherapy and quite frankly, don't need the harrassment.  Is there anyone that can help us?  Thx

Calls several times a day on a daily basis.  I asked to be taken off the calling list was told "NO", and ***g up on.  They will ask for my husband and then **** up on me or just **** up after I say*****o.  Very RUDE and ANNOYING! Call back and receive fax noise.

Have been getting these several times a day for a couple of weeks. When I answer I get a **** up. When I call them,like others,I either get fax tones or a busy signal. Lately I just pick up and **** it up right away without saying anything. Seems to be the only satisfaction I can get out of this annoyance. Hope someone can figure out a solution to this PEST

This is a fax ma****e calling you.  It appears that you've probably used your number as a fax number at one time or another, and someone either bought, sold, or otherwise acquired it as a****ential dedicated fax ma****e -- this is called SPAM-faxing, and they'd like to use up your fax resources in order to get their advertising (usually for a travel company or some cruise company), before your eyes.  They get very few complaints, because company faxes are usually handled by people who don't pay the bills, or make decisions on how much effort goes into tracking this stuff.  What I did was use my free minutes on my cell phone to call them, repeatedly, letting the SPAMMING fax ma****e pick up, and try to connect to my phone, all taking up their valuable minutes, and limiting their out-bound capabilities.  This gets old after an hour or so, but that's another hour that they aren't calling anyone else with this illegal and unethical ****!

We get calls from this number multiple times a day, and have been getting them for weeks now. Today it was idfferent. Somehow she knew my husband's name and asked for him. When I replied that he was not at home and that I would take a message. She ***g up.

Everyday-multiple times a day. . . Same story-Except I think that this is the same number that I had numerous ****-ups and then finally it was someone calling about an extended warranty on one of our vehicles and I told him that they were sure pursistant and that we were not interested, now always **** ups, and busy signal when you call back.  Don't they have so****ing better to do?????

I get calls from this company "TMC" a lot. I usually **** when I get the dead air but this time I decided to wait, after about 30 sec. a girl came on and asked for me by name, when I told her to remove me from their call list and that I have no connections with your company and I am on a Federal Do Not Call list and you are illegally calling me, if you don't stop I will report you to the Atty. General. Her reply was I don't care who you report me to because it will not affect my pay check and I can't remove you from our call list and she ***g up.  What can I do? To report to the Atty. Gen. takes a lot of time and effort...it's not easy for the consumer.

Same as above.  I called the number back and just got what sounds like fax tones.  Not sure what it is.  I have also gotten a busy signal as well when trying to call it.

Called 2x in 24 hrs. Same scenario as above. They ****.

Calls 3 or 4 times a day.  When I pick up, nothing there, then it ****s up.

Same story here... several calls daily - all ****-ups.

I get the same thing, number calls both day and night. If you answer it, there is about a 10 second pause before it ****s up.  And if you let the ma****e get it, it ****s up on it as well.

Many calls daily, day and night. No answer, no message, just dead air until they disconnect.
