Leave a CommentANNOYANCE AND FRAUD ALERT: Loves to call after 10:30pm; rings twice then stops. Also got a computer asking for hilariously private information like full 16 digit card number and security code. If an account had a problem, they would know my account number, not need to ask for it.
Received call from 219-334-1802. Caller ID said it was from Indiana. It was almost 10:30 P.M. so I din't answer the call.
Received a call from number indicating that my card with NW Credit Union had been compromised, asked for my 16-digit credit card number. I entered 1234-5678-9012-3456. They then asked for my ATM pin. FRAUD ALERT!!!!
Got a call today from 219-334-1802, automated voice said from NW Credit Union. Asked for info - s****ing with my 16 digit card number. I ***g up!
Got one on my cell phone yes****ay, told me my card had been comprimised, but I only got half the robo message so didn't get a company name. Figured it was fraud. How come they can't be stopped by going back to who ever has that phone number?
Automated call that asked for the same thing. I almost did it but realized it couldn't be true. I ***g up and called the people my credit card is with.
I, too, just got a call to my cell phone from this exact number. I did a search online since I don't know anyone in the 219 area code. There was no message left - probably because I didn't pick up and they didn't want it traced. Weird stuff.
wow... so I just got one of those calls too, I couldn't really understand who it was supposed to be from... but it said that my visa was suspended because of su****ion of someone else getting to my account. This freaked me out pretty bad because I just recently ordered some clothes online. I only have a check card so I ***g up and looked at online banking and everything was fine. I can hardly believe this happened. I also tried to call them back and it said it wasn't a working number.
Our annswering service called twice regarding a credit card problem. The second time they called she was able to get a number. They asked for a 16 digit number. DO NOT FALL FOR IT.
They are hitting Alaska as Mat****ka Valley Federal Credit Union, requesting account and card information, this is a hoax!!!
I recieved a callfrom here but didn't answer. I don't answer unknown callers any more.
received a call from this number two days ago. Did not want to push any ****ons, but listened....difficult to understand more than "credit union".
Recording identified themselves as Zia Credit Union. So****ing wrong with my Visa card. Press one. They want you to give vital information, including card number. This is a "Fishing" phone call. Very scary. Need to report to local/federal government athorities.
Recording from "Zia Credit Union". My visa card has been declined. Told to select #1 to speak with an represenitive. Went along out of curiosity. (I don't have a credit card) A recording said "to better serve you" I would need to enter 3 pieces of information before a rep would come on the line. The recording also stated the call was being recorded for quility****urances. Then the recording asked for my Visa Card number. I entered 4444 4444 4444 4444. A ma****e altered man's voice came on and repeated the number and "if this is correct press 1." I did. "The card number is invalid. Please enter card number a***n." Didn't get any further than that. It is truly a "Fisher". Beware!
I just got a call from the horse**** number 219-334-1802 and they said nothing but it will be a minute a***nst me...This **** is crazy, also 407-957-5956 keeps coming up too.
Just got a call from this number. The robo voice asked me to enter my Visa credit card number. It claimed to be from visa and that my card had been compromised. It would have been if I had entered the number. Definitely a fraud.Gray
Ditto. Got another one that just came from a number s****ed as "241"
FRAUD ALERT - Robocall to my wife's phone "State Dept Federal Credit Union" and that my credit card had been compromised. Told to select #1 to speak with a person. Had a better idea, ***g up. This is a fraud operation. I also received a call from this number but did not answer it.
Got one today from "Greater Atlantic Bank" robocaller telling me my visa had been accessed and needed reenteringautomated system helpfully took my CC#, exp. date and PIN.thankfully, I'm not dumb enough to fall for it...
I can confirm Not 2 Happy's experience ... it was a fishy sounding Robo-call telling me that she was from the "State Department Federal Credit Union" and there was unauthorized activity on my back card.Since I have neither a bank card nor an account with the SDFCU (whatever that is), I ***g up.
FRAUD ALERT: Robo-call ostensibly from 'State Department' with msg stating my bankcard was rendered invalid. I knew this to be false, since I had just used my bankcard. Instructed me to provide bankcard info to restore (e.g. 16-digit bankcard number, security code, etc.). Caller gave no other proof of authority.
Recorded woman's voice said call from "State Dept Federal Credit Union" and that my credit card had been compromised. Told to select #1 to speak with a person. Had a better idea, ***g up. This is a fraud operation.
