I have received 9 calls from this number is the past 2 weeks, 8 of which were missed calls. I finally answered today and it was Discover card. They informed me of their cashback options on the card I just enrolled in. They also wanted to let me know that they did credit tracking, and they wanted to record a statement to prove that I accepted the enrollment. I had Googled the number a few days ago, so the whole thing seemed fishy to me. I declined and said I would call back later. I don't know that it's a scam, but I plan on calling Discover to see if the number is indeed part of the company. I'll update this post when I find out.

I have received a call from this number 2 times now. The first time they asked for me then we got disconnected.  The second time was when I was at work less than a week after the first call.  I decided to call the # back & it says it was the call center & put me on hold.  The gentleman proceeded to tell me he was calling from discover and they noticed I have not used my card in quite some time & wanted to lower my interest rate. He had my home address, phone #, e-mail address along with my interest rate on my card & my current balance.  I asked guy where he was based out of & he told me Ohio (I live in Indiana - 219 is an Indiana area code - plus the "Indiana Call" on Caller ID).  I told him I needed to think about it & ***g up.  I immediately called Discover & they informed me it was not their company that called me.  He put me on hold & tried calling the #.  He got disconnected several times & spoke to several other people around him & they all said the same thine - fraudulant.  If you get a call from this #, be VERY careful.
