Just talked to the ****** cancer relief fund - 90% of your donation goes to paying salaries and "costs".  DO NOT donate to this scam.

CID reads BCRF. Has called a couple of times today. I did not answer nor did they leave a message.

I called the number back and got a 'Cancer Relief Fund'

I received a call from this BCRF also.  It is not the ****** Cancer Research Fund.  It is the ****** Cancer Relief Foundation and it is in New Orleans, LA.  When I looked it up on the web, it seems to be a good organization that does a lot for women suffering with ****** Cancer.  After doing the research, I will give a donation if they call back.  I'm sure they will.  They all do.

When I called this number back to tell them to stop bothering us, it rang many times then went to a fax. Since they never spoke when I picked up, I am unsure why they are robo-calling people. I work nights and this is particularly annoying.

This number calls at least once a day and never leaves a message.  A couple times when I have answered the phone I get no response.  They do not respond when you call the number back.

Calls multiple times a week...never anyone on the line,but did hear a beep before silence which might be that they are recording??

Couldn't find any organisation named "****** Cancer Research Fund" - they all appear to be named after somebody such as the "Carolyn Baldwin ****** Cancer Research Fund" (which is legit). Also couldn't find any in Louisiana. The ****** Cancer Research Foundation is based in NY and their web page specifically says they do not solicit donations by phone.

Caller ID says BCRF, what ever that is?

This is a call-mill that supposedly collects money for families in need of police officers in return for a decal to go on the windshield of your car. They were located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and this nimber indicates that they still are. In the past they were a very courteous group but in the past few years have developed a "hard sell" presentation type format. Their last call to us included a "request" that we "swear" that we would send a donation instead of accepting the decal and trashing the donation forms. I used to donate to them every year but now donate directly to a comparable fund for our local and parish police that is administered locally.

I get weird calls all the time from many places, this being one.  I am on the do not call list, but I think it just gives these type of callers a list  TO call instead of NOT calling!

CID doessay bcrf called at 7:14 didn't answer left no message.

CID reads BCRF, they are calling our company Fax Line, but every time I answer they ****-up. Called one time at 2:01 pm on 5/13. Lets hope it only the one call.

we are getting them calling way too many times.  Some of our other calls we would get have stopped.  Maybe reporting them as much as we have has stopped them.We are on the do not call list and I have reported bad numbers but always like to be sure of these places that someone is representing them properly and more things.  I would support or give to ****** cancer research but would like to legitimately and more as have had friends and family with it. But any scammers can say they represent such and such thinking you are giving to a true cause and that is the trap some fall into and more especially with elderly and more have seen.So Beware!!!

BCRF-was told they were representing ****** cancer research funding, however, ****** cancer research does not solicit over the telephone!  This is a scam!  Beware!  On the ****** Cancer Research Web site, they state they do NOT solicit over the phone!

The number 225-272-1859 Caller ID says it is BCRFno answer when I call back. I am on the no call list. This is annoying to me. Has been  calling since last week at least daily.

Calls me, ****s up w/o leaving message, calls 2-3 times a day. A scam according to internet research. I am on the do not call list and hate these calls with a passion.

Got a call from 225-272-1859 2x in a 30 minute period tonight, called back and rang several times. If they want people to donate money they should leave a nice message not leave **** up dial tones on answering ma****e. I did a search and they are calling from a Louisiana area code.

That phone number calls and ****s up about 3 times a week. I have sent email to the real BCRF and advised them I will not donate so long as I am getting calls from this organization, w***ver they are.

Called in mid-afternoon.  ID showed "BCRF."  They did not leave a message on the answering ma****e.We were previously on the ****er list for an organization that was supposed to be raising money for the Police or State Troopers****ociation.  That was exposed as a scam in the newspaper, showing that the owners of the telemarketing operation pocketed most of the money and donated only a tiny gift to the****ociation.  They have c****ed to using cell phones with phony names, as well as out-of-state numbers.  Since someone else mentioned that this outfit was raising money for the police, it is probably the same scam.

I answered the phone, no voice, went dead, called them back, rang & rang, finally Fax type racket, then went dead.

BCRF showed up on my caller ID as well.  When I tried to answer the phone they ***g up.  I googled BCRF & came across a site for the ****** Cancer Research Foundation.  Probably soliciting for donations.

225-272-1859 called today. did not leave message. If they want money they're not getting any from me. If I want to give I'll call them. Even if it was the police. I try other ways to support them by reporting su****ious activity and they practically **** me off sometimes. It's time for society to take better care of itself and not rely on the government!

I too, called back but after many rings, the sound of a fax ma****e came on.  The pathetic state troopers****ociation here in Texas pulls the same stunts AFTER you've told them to remove your name from their lists.  They call, **** up when you answer and when you call back, the fax ma****e or even a message that tells you that their mailbox is full!
