I received a phone call recorded message from an obvious scammer claiming to be the IRS. The message was for me to call 225-289-7519 (or have my lawyer call) immediately or I would be arrested for tax fraud. I have received these calls before as have many of my neighbors. This is an old scam. I called back, and they told me that I owe money to the IRS and they can settle the debt with me personally. They try to get people to meet them somewhere with cash. There's more to it, but I gave you the gist of the scam.
