You are exactly right on all your comments.  Keep calling me on so****ing I already paid off even.  I think they are also trying to play on people's fears that "maybe I didn't pay this" or "maybe I still owe this".  Not gonna happen !!!!

These people are truly 'bottom feeders' as one person said.  When I talked with them I quickly found out what they were up to.  These people are credit care collection reps that are trying to get you to pay on cards that have gone pass the "statue of limitations". That means you don't have to pay that amount at anymore on that card, but it doesn't mean you don't owe the money, but they can't force you to pay that old balance.    But if you give them only one-dollar toward your old card you will be hooked to paying on that card or even worse.   Be very careful with these people.  I was ****** enough to give my SSC to find out what they wanted and I will probably regret it some day; but at least I know now what they are after---your money. Don't do what I did.  It's just best to block them on your cell or just delete them when they call. They can hurt you if you give them too much info.

They too have s****ed to call me at 6am!!!!  I told them they were ***king the law I am in CA not New Orleans even though my cell number has a 504 area code.  I had my lawer (my sister) call them.  It stopped.Good luck all

These people keep calling me several times a day and leaving blank voicemail messages. i've texted them and told them to stop since i get wrong numbers every once and a while, and they won't quit calling ALL the time!

They call me and ask me to press 1 or 2.  Don't DO IT!

I  got a call from this number, which is local to me, asking if I was *name* to press 1 or if not *name* to press 2, and said I could call 1-800-824-6191 to speak to a representative. This is a debt collector FNCB out of Nevada, apparently one of the Bottom Feeder collection agencies... Chalk another up for the block list!

Recieve call from this 225-341-1101 don't want to answer call from those callers with caller ID block. I have a very common first and last name and have had to fight with other companies about accounts with my full name. I research my name and in my city along there are approxiately 100 people or more with my same name.  I had to write an affidavit two year ago to clear my name, was being sued in court: right name but wrong person.  Guys be careful when you take calls from these collectors they just want the bill paid.
