Definate scam.

I received a text message this morning the my account had been locked. Card #430930. No card number is that short so I decided to check Google to see if anyone else had received the message. I did not call the number back and now I will not call the number. Alonzo

I received a text message last night about by account being deactivated. I DO NOT have an account at that bank. I did not call the number back. From reading the other comments, its the same card number and number to call back. I'll be contacting that bank in a few minutes. DO NOT call the number back or enter your actual information.

I don't even have an account with this bank. I got the same text message. I did call the number. When they asked for the account # I entered 1234567891234567 and for a PIN number I put in 1234. None of this is actual account information, but then the message said: Your account has been reactivated. Clearly just trying to get people's acct info and pin. Fyi...Your bank will NEVER ask you for your PIN number.

Just got a text from this number saying "Your card #430930 has been temporarily DEACTIVATED. Please call 225-***-7443 to reactivate." I don't have any dealings with American Gateway Bank at all!

I also got a text from this number saying my Am. Gateway account had been deactvated. I don't have an AM Gateway account either.

left a message for am gateway bank saying account was suspended and to call this number. don't have an account with this bank. contacted bank fraud department
