Legit call about a water emergency in our town. A water main broke. The recording directed us to the city website, which corroborated the water emergency information. Wow! I had not heard and was grateful to get the call.

Just got a call from this number and missed it. Tried calling it back but it was silent then ****up call.

Received this call warning of flooding in my area.  It is a legitimate call, we're under flash flood warnings.

Recieved this call at 554 am from 2256125725 firstcall on caller ID   . I work late nights and only had been in bed for a couple  of hours. Its bad enough to get these annoying calls during daylight hours, but at 5 in the morning. Who are these people?

This is a good call. It is an emergency notification call and is totally legit! For me, it comes from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

This was an official call from law enforcement warning of an excaped inmate in my county and saying to lock all windows and doors.

This was a call from my school testing the university's emergency norse alert system. They also sent me a text minutes later.

This was First call from my school testing the university's emergency alert system. They send a minutes earlier.

Phone rang at 1:30 AM, it sounded like an auto-telesales call could make out the message.

i am listed as a contact for people who have a lifeline service in case of a call.  so this call scared me, and is abusive

Husband got a missed call from this number, called it back and got silence and then a busy signal.

Just s****ed getting calls from this number, and I have now had three in the last 40 minutes.  I do NOT want to answer it, as I don't recognize it, and posting it brought me here.

I got a call also twice yes****ay, I tried to return the call, but there was nothing.  When the second call came thru, it was a message from the an Alert system about the Tropical Storm Eduardo.  I am not complaining, I am only telling you what the message was. I was grateful.

Community Emergency warning system.  In our case, a hurricane warning.

It was a recording from my police dept about a missing child who was last seen at a park a few  blocks from my house, so for that I don't mind the long message. If it were my kid missing, I'd be thrilled to know that they could notify the neighbors.Evidently it's a service used for emergency notifications all over the country, so I'd rather not be removed.

Called while i was in class then when i called back i got a busy signal

currently under tor***o warnings at this time. this number called twice. first time did not answer until researched on here to see who it might be. called back a second time and I answered it. it was a weather warning due to the bad weather going on at this time in the area

Two nights in a row, the call came at 2:10 A.M.  Don't mind ****ing up on solicitor calls, but they don't talk, even when  you catch the call on the second ring.  This is a nuisance and must stop.

A call at 2:10 A.M. is beyond annoying.  Two nights in a row is beyond belief.  I enjoy ****ing up on solicitors, but was denied this privledge as the caller does not speak.  This must stop, the calling at this hour.  Can we regulate times of soliciting calls?  Allow the calls, allow us to put our number on a do not contact list, but restrict the calling times by all solicitors.

Called w/ a recorded message about dangerous mosquitos found in our area of Edenton NC, sounded like it came from a state agency

I live in temple, so I will****ume this was related to the missing girls.

Checked with Temple PD...the call was a part of AMBER ALERT system, and ***ody knows how to remove my number from the list.Supposedly the system is run by the 'Council of Governments'....The call was legit.but not enough info was given for me to be of any help. Plus,I live 30min from the area where the girls were last seen. The girls were found, all okay.

I've received several calls from this number on my cell phone but I haven't been able to answer them at the time. The city of Weatherford, TX has this number as an emergency notification system. I live in the upper midwest, so I should not need to receive emergency notifications from Texas.I am going to try to answer next time they call to see what it is.

I didn't answer the call, but then got a text message right after saying "PLEASE CALL".  I came here to find out who it was.  I also called the number back, and it was a recorded message saying if I wanted to be removed from the list to leave my name and phone number...Yeah, right, so they can call me a***n and pretend to know me after I tell them my name??  The call came from a Louisiana area code.

did not answer call, could they be tied to allied interste, or omega services.  These companies have the same phone #'s.

Was arecorded message that first siad they had the wrong number then asked twice to press "0" to repeat the message
