Called our business line asking for the owner but he forgot his name and we did work for him in the past so I transferred the call to my husband and he said that there was someone from his church in the hospital and needed money from us and would pay us back in a couple of days...we have never done any work for a Pastor Louis

Called said he did work for me and needed money to buy concert mixer. Big time scam. I wish I would have used Number Guru first....

Said he was a pastor that claimed to know me and was out of town and needed some money for a prescription for someone in his church and he would pay me back as soon as he could get back in town. Yea right!

Same story he's given others apparently. Says he did brick work for me in the past. Needs money to buy a cement mixer. Wanted to use a cash app. No go.

Just received a call from him on my business phone. Claimed he did business with us last year and I called him out since I've never heard of him before and my clients are mainly hispanic. I'm pretty sure I'd remember a priest named Willy Johnson.

Needed $700 for a brick mortar mixing machine. Mentioned Cash App and I said "not today".

Broke down on side of the road, looking for money and that we knew him from previous jobs.
